It was the casual chat with her master that sparked the idea for her to create a PDF portfolio, convenient for signing with galleries after graduation; yet she didn't have enough paintings in her series.

Sister Zhang came over for a meeting and saw Leh Ying working on her projects at her workstation. She couldn't help but walk over behind her, resting her hand on the back of the chair and bending down.

She took a look for a moment.

"Xiao Ying, switching paths would be far better for you than being a pure artist," she said.

"After graduation, working as an original artist for a large company, or a fine arts designer, UI, visual communication, anything that can support yourself is better; the future of a pure artist is uncertain."

Leh Ying typed seriously on her keyboard: "I like doing pure art."

It was a gambler's path. Was she afraid of going hungry if she won the gamble? Even though she knew that there were countless who'd gone hungry from losing on this path.
