I won't go back, stay with me tonight

Xu Jingxi scrutinized her for a few moments.

After a pause, Xu Jingxi reached out to tuck a lock of her hair behind her ear, raising his voice slightly as he asked, "Haven't we shared a bed? What do you mean it doesn't matter?"

Hearing the question, Leh Ying lifted her head; it was indeed Xu Jingxi. He only listened to half of what she said; it seemed he had no time for a drawn-out discussion.

"I'm sorry, sir, but that doesn't count."

Xu Jingxi's movements faltered slightly, but he simply smiled without a word, allowing her to stand in the night, against the rooftop railing, holding her spine erect, maintaining her pride.

Leh Ying was all too aware of how ridiculous her pride must seem before Xu Jingxi. With a mere gesture from him, her pride could crumble into a pile of mud at any moment.

Yet she didn't want to lose, unwilling to concede even a little bit.

Suddenly she heard him ask casually, "If I had her come up to give you a massage, would you stop arguing with me?"
