The Revelation

The room was silent as Chloe looked at Lily, her eyes wide with shock. "What the...?" She then turned to Ethan and Jake, her expression demanding answers.

Lily frowned, her curiosity piqued. "What is it?"

Chloe glanced back at Ethan and Jake before turning to Lily again. "You need to see this."

Lily grabbed the card from Chloe, her eyes widening as she read it. "What!!" She looked directly at Jake, disbelief and hurt written all over her face.

Jake shifted uncomfortably under her gaze. "What is it, babe?"

Lily's voice trembled with emotion. "The card says... you slept with Jake."

The room fell into a stunned silence. Ethan's face drained of color. "It's not true, Lily. Someone is joking."

Ava shook her head, trying to process the sudden turn of events. "Yeah, I don't think they would do something like that."

Suddenly, everyone's phone beeped in unison. They all received a message from an unknown number. The message simply read: "LIAR."

.....

Umm....well isn't it something??

I mean things are repeating just like last time???

Maybe we will see something different this time??

I don't know...what do you think?

.....

Ava read the message out loud, her voice trembling. "LIAR." She looked at Lily, bewildered. "What the hell? Did you and Ethan cheat on me?"

Jake looked panicked, his eyes pleading. "Babe, it's not what you think."

Ethan's voice was desperate, filled with regret. "Lily, I swear it was a mistake. Jake and I were drunk and not in our right minds. That's why it happened. But I swear it meant nothing to us."

Jake nodded fervently, his desperation palpable. "Yes, babe, it was a mistake. I swear I would never cheat on you. Please, listen to me."

Lily stood up abruptly, her emotions overwhelming her. "I need to go spend some time alone. Excuse me!"

Jake reached out, his voice breaking. "Baby, please listen to me!" But Lily was already heading to her room, her heart shattered. The group watched in stunned silence, the weight of the revelation sinking in.

Ava stood up, determination in her eyes. "I'll go and check on her..."

She walked to Lily's room and knocked gently on the door. "Lily, I'm coming in."

Opening the door, she found Lily sitting on the bed, tears streaming down her face. Ava rushed to her side and hugged her tightly. "Please don't cry, Lily."

Lily sobbed into Ava's shoulder. "I thought he loved me, but how could he do that?"

Ava stroked her back gently, trying to soothe her. "Lily, they were drunk. That's why they made a mistake. Please don't cry."

Lily wiped her eyes, her voice tinged with despair. "So it means whenever they're drunk, they'll do it again?"

Ava sighed, feeling the weight of her friend's pain. "No, but... let's sleep for now, okay? We'll deal with it later."

She wiped Lily's tears and helped her lie down. "Okay," Lily said softly, exhaustion evident in her voice.

They cuddled together, seeking comfort in each other's presence, and soon fell asleep.

Downstairs, the atmosphere was tense and charged with unresolved emotions.

Jake stood up angrily, his frustration boiling over. "Tell me who did it!" Everyone remained silent, unsure of how to proceed.

Natalie stepped forward, her voice firm. "Guys, if any of you did this, you better tell the truth."

Chloe shook her head, bewildered. "Why would any of us do it?"

Noah looked frustrated, his patience wearing thin. "Jake, don't you believe us?"

Jake sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I do, but if none of us did this, then who did?"

Chloe shrugged, feeling helpless. "We don't know."

In a fit of frustration, Jake picked up another card and read it aloud. "Hurt your knees with a rod."

Everyone stared at him in disbelief.

Jake chuckled bitterly, his anger turning to incredulity. "What the hell? Are you kidding me? Who wrote this?"

Noah shook his head, equally baffled. "Hurt your knees! Seriously, who wrote this?"

Natalie raised her hands defensively. "I didn't write it."

Ethan shook his head vehemently. "Neither did I."

Chloe echoed, "I didn't either."

Jake muttered under his breath, "Whatever, I'm going upstairs."

He stormed upstairs, his anger boiling over. As he reached the top, he stumbled and lost his balance, crashing to the floor with a heavy thud. The group rushed to help him, their petty arguments momentarily forgotten in the face of his sudden accident.
