Bull sh*t..." She mutters.

"Isn't this romantic, it's like our reality like drama. I feel like we're the main leads of a romantic movie"

"I've had enough of your bull shit stop it already" She warns. He sneers.

"Ok ma'am" He keeps silent for some moments before breaking it again.

"Why did you go into acting? Because it's your dream?" He asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" She asked back.

"Aren't you tired, I heard you've been struggling for years before landing this project. This movie must mean a lot to you since it's like your key to success, is that why you don't wanna date? Is it hard, have you ever thought of giving up?"

"Why would I give up when I'm just starting? Believing in yourself is the first secret to success, don't you know?"

"Ohhh, I like your spirit. You sounded like a complete hero just now"

"We're all heroes in our lives moreso, no one cares about your story until you win so by all it takes I have to win. That way I won't have any regrets" She smiles to herself.

"Your smile is pretty... Monkey" He smiles at her and her cheeks slowly turns red.

"You're blushing" He pointed to her cheek and she looks away taking in her lower lip.

She could hear him chuckling.

"I'm hungry, thirsty and it's getting darker" Cove says.

"I'm sure they must be looking for us by now, they'll find us soon" She assured.

"It's late already, what do we do if they don't find us?"

"There's tomorrow. One night hunger won't kill" She shrugs.

He keeps silent.

"But are you okay? You seem uncomfortable" She asks noticing his discomfort.

"Are you worried about me?" He smirks.

"As if. You should sleep, that way hunger will leave"

"I can't sleep" He says.

"Why? You're scared uh?"She nudges him playfully.

"Huh. I'm scared so I can't sleep" He admitted.

"Hey, you're a man. You shouldn't admit that so easily"

"I have night blindness. I can barely see anything right now. Including you Monkey, so I'm a bit scared" He confessed leaving her speechless.

"You must believe seeing how quiet you are?"

"You acted strange so I thought so"

"You found out my weakness, don't you dare use it against me or let anyone know"

"How many people knows of this?"

"Three. You, 𝚒, and Orion"

"You two must be really close?"

"We met in middle school, he's my only friend. More like a brother"

"You should sleep. It's late"

"Why are you trying on making me sleep, are you gonna steal a kiss if I do" 𝙷𝚎 𝚠𝚒𝚐𝚐𝚕𝚎 𝚊 𝚋𝚛𝚘𝚠

He chuckles.

"Just kidding"

She slap his shoulder.

"I don't wanna fall asleep 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚒 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚗𝚊 𝚏𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚢𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚎𝚡𝚌𝚎𝚙𝚝 I'm falling for you" He winks at her.

"Aren't you tired doing that all day?"

"Why should I be, if I'm falling then I should say it. You have a really special effect on me monkey, even if there's no gravity on earth I'll still fall for you just like the rain. So, you should try falling also, fall hard for me, Monkey" He stare directly, their eyes locking gaze.

"You really talk too much" She looks away fanning herself feeling hot suddenly.

"I can't fall asleep in the dark. Do you know why dark is spelled with 'K' and not 'C'? It's because we can't C in the dark. I badly wanna sleep too but I just can't... I'm really scared..."

"If you keep talking like that I'll start pitying you"

"I'm fine with that if it'll make you feel something else but hatred for me" He replied. She said nothing.

Five minutes.

Eight minutes.

It was silent.

"Monkey...where are you?" He stretch his hand forward.

"I'm... I'm here..." She held his hand.

"Found you" He smiles placing his head on her shoulder.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"I can only be at peace because you're with me right now Monkey, without you here I can't imagine the hell I'd be going through right now. Promise never to leave me in the dark, promise you'll always stay where I can see you. Promise me...Mokee... " He said loftily, looking up to her.

She blinks, staring down at him also.

"Can you promise me, Mokee?" He said again.

"Al... alright. I... promise" She replied slowly, he smiled charmingly then positioned his head well on her shoulder, closing his eyes.

Mokee says nothing, nor push him away, she just sat there in perfect silent.

Cove's eyes squinted and his lids open slowly.

He withdrew his head from her shoulder and look at her.

The moonlight shone brightly in the sky giving him a clear view of her.

Her head was rested back with her eyes closed.

He smiles.

He pulled her head closer to him, resting it on his chest gently.

Mokee's eyes squinted, but it wasn't open.

His gaze focuses on her face and his palm gently stroke her hair.

"You've done a great job...Mokee" He mumbles and the corner of her lips went up a little.

She smiles secretly.

Cove's eyes continued scrutinizing her face, from her scanty eye brows to her closed eyes which showcases her long eye lashes then down to her pointed nose and finally to her heart shaped pink lips pressed together forming a thin line.

His palm stroking her hair find its way to her cheek rubbing on it softly.

He began leaning his face down to her face and Mokee on feeling his hot breathes fanning her face closes her eyes more tightly not moving an inch.

Cove didn't stop, he leans down more and his face met hers.

Their noses touched.

Her breath hitched so does she tightens her fists.

He closes his eyes also.
