"As I struggled to comprehend the system's revelations, I was shocked by the traumas my body had endured and the actions I had taken. But I couldn't afford to dwell on the past; I had to focus on training, growing stronger, and reuniting with my old family while forging a new one. Another memory surfaced, shattering my emotional barriers, and I recalled the moment my barrier to cultivate was removed in Water City when I met that person. I realized that my parents might be alive, possibly reincarnated, but without memories or a connection to the system.
I turned to Shreyansh with urgency: 'Shreyansh, please take me to a place where I can cultivate my abilities.' Shreyansh's response was laced with surprise and obedience: 'Okay, father . I'm sorry, I'll address you as mother from now on.'
"Okay, from now on, call me Mom, okay? I don't want any problems," I said to Shreyansh. He replied, "Okay, let's go."
After walking for about 10 minutes, we arrived in front of a large gate. I asked Shreyansh, "What is this place like?" He explained, "This is where we can train our spiritual power and realm power at top speed. It's divided into five stages, and with each stage, the pressure on the soul increases and can even burn the soul."
I responded, "Oh, it's quite difficult, but my soul is already stronger than anyone I've ever met." Shreyansh said, "Anyway, let's go."
As we approached the gate, I noticed it was purple with a flame sign. I felt like I had seen a flame somewhere before, and soon I realized it was the same flame of art that had changed my behavior significantly. However, after a month, it had kindled a small fire, and I started to worry again about an ulterior motive.
When we reached the door, two people in gold vests and dresses with sword marks eyed me with lust.
two guards in gold vests and dresses with sword marks gazed at me with lustful eyes. I wore a black dress with golden patterns, which revealed more of my body than it concealed. The dress showcased my curves, with a hint of breast visible through the transparent fabric. The guards' eyes fixed on me, their desire palpable.
Shreyansh noticed their reaction and intervened, "Don't think anything, she's my mom." But the guards' eyes lingered, their faces filled with a mix of surprise and longing. One of them stammered, "Shreyansh, we can barely control this emotion... please get rid of her quickly. She's first-class and probably more beautiful than a princess..."
I felt a surge of discomfort, but Shreyansh's presence reassured me. He stood firm, his voice calm, "Let's just focus on our training, shall we?" The guards nodded, still casting glances my way, but we proceeded, leaving their distractions behind.
:
I attempted to retrieve my sword from the storage room, only to realize I didn't have one. Perhaps it was left in the last world. Shreyansh noticed my growing anger and intervened, "Mom, please don't get angry. It's not entirely their fault. This place amplifies desires, and as guards, they're most affected."
I was taken aback by his words. "Really?" I asked, curiosity piqued.
Shreyansh nodded. "Yes, let's proceed." He ushered us inside the gate, and as I entered, I felt a slight pressure on my soul, but it was still manageable. We began ascending the towering purple staircase, and Shreyansh explained, "These 6501 steps increase pressure on the soul with each step. The first stage is overcome after 2500 steps, then 2000 steps to the second stage, 1500 steps to the third, 1000 steps to the fourth, and finally 501 steps to the last stage. Each stage has a training floor, with the first floor at 500 steps and another at 501 steps. As we progress, our growth speed increases."
I listened intently, fascinated by the staircase's secrets. Shreyansh continued, "Only 50 people have achieved this feat, and at level 501, only one mysterious person has succeeded. The origin of this staircase and its connection to the planet's formation remain unknown. Asteroids collided, forming the planet around this staircase, resulting in a rough surface and unique time loop. Only this country has a stable environment."
I acknowledged his explanation, and Shreyansh apologized for his earlier excitement, saying, "Sorry, mom, I forgot to explain this world and universe." I reassured him, "It's not a big deal. Please, tell me more about this place."
Shreyansh began to elaborate on the planet and universe, sharing his knowledge with me.
"This universe, known as 'Kaalos' - the Realm of Eternal Conflict, is a hellish battleground where demons clash with higher universes. These higher universes believe they've harnessed human powers to achieve immortality."
I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Immortal? Isn't that impossible?"
Shreyansh, or Eshu, smiled. "Not in the vast expanse of the multiverse, Mom. Kaalos is part of the Shaurya Verse, a collection of universes shrouded in mystery. There's even a lower-level multiverse, the 'Naraka Realm', where exceptionally skilled individuals have emerged. All these universes are enigmas waiting to be unraveled."
He continued, "Kaalos is the 20th universe in the Shaurya Verse, and soon, a new competition will unfold. Warriors will fight to transcend this multiverse and enter the 'Elysium Realm', a powerful universe where God is said to reside, wielding unimaginable powers. It's a level-based system, but I fear you can't participate, Mom. The minimum requirement is Domain Master level and under 100 years old."
I nodded, determination burning within me. "Perhaps, but let's aim to reach new heights, regardless. We'll push ourselves to the limit."
Eshu grinned. "I'm with you, Mom. Together, we'll conquer the challenges of Kaalos and unlock its secrets."
The name "Kaalos" is derived from the Greek word "kaos," meaning chaos, reflecting the universe's turbulent nature. The Shaurya Verse is inspired by the Sanskrit word "shaurya," meaning courage or valor, symbolizing the bravery required to navigate these mysterious universes.
"As we continued our ascent, we were oblivious to the fact that we were on the cusp of reaching Stage 2, just one step away. And then, suddenly, we reached it. A subtle pressure began to build up inside me, and our conversation was interrupted. We thought we were only at Level 4 or 5, but our determination drove us to push further. With each step, the pressure intensified, and I started to feel a burning sensation in my soul and body. I pressed on, unaware of the toll it was taking on me.
"Shreyansh trailed behind me by 20 steps, but we continued to climb. The pressure mounted, and I could feel my energy waning. I stopped to rest after a hundred steps, sitting down on the stair. Shreyansh soon joined me, his face etched with exhaustion. 'It's getting really tough, Mom,' he said. 'I think I need to strengthen my soul to reach the top, but it's still far away.'
"'Let's rest for another hour and then continue,' I replied. We sat there, cultivating and absorbing the energy stored within me. The energy began to surge, and some of it flowed towards Shreyansh. I recalled the system's words and knowledge - this connection between us as mother and son would be beneficial for our training.
"After resting, I felt a sudden surge of energy and attacked the wall of pressure in front of me. It shattered, and I began to cultivate even more. The pressure on me decreased, and we resumed our ascent. We cultivated every 10 steps, and our speed increased with each iteration.
