Restraints

Chapter 120 Restraints The bandit frantically searched around before turning his head at the sound of the adventurer's voice. Spotting him, he shrieked in fear and tried to scramble away, shouting, "Stay away from me! You, you monster!" As the bandit desperately crawled away from the adventurer, the adventurer smiled devilishly and watched as the bandit struggled to run away and stumble. The bandit's fear soon overwhelmed him, causing him to faint and collapse hard onto the ground, much to the adventurer's displeasure. As the adventurer considered ways to extract information from the unconscious bandit, he recalled the other bandit he had knocked out earlier. After making his decision, the adventurer prepared restraints for the bandits. But before doing that, he carried each bandit, one by one, to a secluded spot away from the path. He cast magic that shackled the unconscious bandit's arms and legs together, then retrieved a thick rope from his bag and tied the two bandits together facing opposite directions. Once satisfied with the rope's tautness, he rushed to his horse's side and retrieved multiple ointments, medicinal salves, and a red potion from his bag. As he opened each container, he started applying the contents to pieces of animal skin. While he did this, he calmly spoke to his horse, saying, "There's no need to panic; it's just me. Please stay still and don't move while I take out these arrows." The horse obeyed the adventurer's instructions, lying as still as possible while waiting for the arrows to be taken out of its body. It did its best not to squirm, and as it lay there, its suffering subsided as soon as the adventurer began his care. While the adventurer tended to his horse, he did his best to avoid making any sudden movements while pulling out the arrows. However, to his fury, as soon as he pulled out the last arrow, he noticed that the tip was coated with poison. The adventurer repressed his rage and quickly applied a healing salve to the horse's wound, pouring a small amount of the red liquid onto it. As the wound visibly healed, it began to exude the poison that had infiltrated into the horse. However, as the poison left the horse's body, it started flowing down to its other open wounds. Foreseeing this, the adventurer took out a clean cloth and wiped the poison away from the horse and its wounds. Sighing in relief, the adventurer monitored the horse's recovery, only occasionally glancing at the bandits with a gaze full of murderous hatred.
