King Dulcee, was sitting on his throne. The throne was covered in orange and pink colored gems. The base color was a nice shade of red. It was a legendary seat, that all his ancestors once owned. As he grew into the monarch position, he too was granted the opportunity to sit on it.
He smiled brightly as the view in front of him pleased him. Picture frames of his great ancestors adorned the walls and beside it, pictures of the people of the Land of Sweeten, smiling together.
The king leaned back in his throne and sighed contentedly.
"How wonderful are my people, wouldn't you agree Rena?" He asked a middle aged woman who was dressed as a servant, with a small band on her arm, showing the emblem of her proud home.
Rena nodded "Why yes your majesty, it's all thanks to your sweet kind heart."
"Oh nonsense it's the bare minimum! Here in Sweeten we all dare not be nothing but sweet!" The king chuckled loudly, the boisterous sound resonating on the walls.
Rena smiled at her king. He was truly a man worth the monarchy. He had a natural sweet charisma to him, that she couldn't put into words unless someone else heard him.
A loud knock was heard on the door to the throne room. A young man in bright cyan colored armor opened the door, and saluted by slamming the black spear he held on the ground. Then he kneeled using one leg while keeping the other neutral, bowing down as a sign of great reverence.
"Your majesty it's time for another great announcement for the people. A new one has arrived and to be welcomed by us with open arms." The young man said, a voice filled with nothing but positivity.
The wise old king rubbed his beard pensively
"It seems you are right Poq" King Dulcee nodded, in agreement.
Without any preparations, the King started walking to his balcony. He knew what he needed to say came from the heart and not a man made written message.
He waved at a few children who were the first to notice his presence, then he waved at an elderly woman who gave him a smile and a nod, as they both unbeknownst to each other looked back on their youthful days as they were hit with a twinge of nostalgia.
He then waved at a certain loudmouth who eventually made sure everyone knew King Dulcee was relaying his words.
"Hey, everyone! Everyone quiet down, the king is about to speak!" The loudmouth said. Although his words to a stranger sounded rather harsh, the man always had a light tone his voice, similar to the way he was in nature.
King Dulcee cleared his throat with a small cough, then he looked upon all the villagers who had gathered. The people from the commoner village were allowed into the noble village to hear the king's speeches.
"Hello my wonderful generous people! My only true purpose as king is to grant you all nothing but joy, hope, and prosperity!" He started, as some villagers cheered with a joyous tone.
"I have you all gathered here because as you all know our beloved Sugar Knights, are beyond efficiency and learned that a young boy has become our visitor!"
A middle aged woman who owed a fruit stand, was pushing the crowd over excitement and hopping and laughing to herself.
"I met that boy! I met that boy! The king has mentioned a boy I met! He shall definitely be rewarded with fame. He'll be famous some day!" She said, laughing as she shouted out to her fellow citizens.
The king cleared his throat, almost coughing from holding his laugh as he couldn't help but appreciate the joy, radiating on the woman in the crowd, who's laugh could be heard from the very back of the people.
"I will now clear that title for the young boy because now, he shall be a brand new citizen of The Land of Sweeten!" The king exclaimed, opening his arms in a gesture of kindness and inclusion, feeling happy for the young lad and truly hoping he felt welcome.
"Art, if you are listening lad, we hope you can enjoy a good life filled with prosperity under the citizenship of Sweeten!" The king shouted out, his voice echoing kilometers way, being heard even at the bottom level of the village.
As the king finished his speech he smiled down at all his people, feeling the emotions being reciprocated to him. The villagers erupted in a cheer while a few children started to dance gleefully in a circle.
Everyone had to show their joy as the king's speeches always brought them to the peak of happiness.
