It was a bright and sweet day in the kingdom of Sweeten. The skies were clear, in a light pink with a slight shade of magenta. A woman stared up at the bright red sun smiling as she held an orange wooden basket around her arm. She extended her arm above her, her hand blocking the red gleam momentarily, as she picked a white fruit out of a certain tree.
Linnie was a fruit stand lady. She had started her fruit stand business when she was 23, and now she was 38. She made about 15 Treats every day, most being her regulars like a particular blue haired boy. She was currently picking out the freshest gapples from the white gummy trees. She had grown a small group of all 3 colors in her conjoined field, whom she shared with her neighbor Belinda.
"Beautiful day out today wouldn't you say Linnie?" A voice was heard beside her trees.
This was Belinda, a 36 year old woman who loved to collect and plant flowers. She crouched down to her field of black, green, and purple flowers. The purple field of grass enhanced the opacity of the flowers, much to Belinda's aesthetic.
Linnie looked over at Belinda who was currently crouched down and humming to her flowers. She mentioned she did so in order to keep the flowers happy, allowing them to grow perfectly. Although she had never really proven this to be true, since she had never had any drastic growth in any of her flowers.
"Yes, it's quite lovely today." Linnie smiled, turning back to her gapple picking. Just a few moments later, she finished picking the white gapples, 12 of them in her basket. She waved goodbye to Belinda and went back inside her small wooden home. Her interior was decorated with a shelf at the entrance, and just a few feet in front was a square pit a few centimeters deep. Above it was a faucet, stuck to the wall.
To her left there was a wall with a coat rack standing next to it and a painting of a gummy tree, hung against the wall. When she stepped to the right, she entered a room with white walls. A light blue was the color of the ceiling. Linnie walked past her small kitchen, into a small room with a mat in the corner, a small table with a teapot and a plant on top of it. A small window to the left of the table gleamed, level to Linnie. She moved a chair that was in the corner of the room next to the table and sat down, leaning back.
She smiled, enjoying the life she had.

Ryker was about to ask a lady walking down the path for her hand in marriage. He thought she was too beautiful to just give a compliment to. He didn't like that a compliment only focused on one thing instead of the spirit and the soul. This lady's soul was beautiful, and Ryker could see it.
He increased his pace, and tapped the lady on the shoulder, causing her to turn around. She looked at Ryker with a smile.
"Hello there, can I help you?" The lady asked.
Ryker could see her features more clearly now that she was closer to him. Soft skin with an oval shaped face. Light purple shoulder length hair, rosy cheeks, and soft pink lips. Her eyes were at perfect width between her nose with big beautiful lavender eyes. He felt himself heat up when she smiled at him.
'Come on Ryker, you're big, strong, handsome, you were elected as a Sugar Knight. Uhh, you're handsome, you're strong, and you know how to fight! Yea!' He encouraged himself.
He looked directly at her and with a small smirk, he slid his arm in between hers. She let out a small gasp and then giggled. She patted his arm and soon they then started walking together in a comforting silence. As Ryker held the girl's arm he inwardly panicked. He hadn't really thought completely when he put his arm through hers.
Cynthia felt the man's uneasiness and giggled. She decided to break the silence with a few words.
"Don't worry I like boys who know what they want. They are strong." She rubbed his arm in a warm gesture.
"Okay it is settled then." Ryker puffed out his chest.
"What is settled my anonymous lover?" She jokingly asked.
"You shall know my name on the day of our marriage." Ryker spoke with clear confidence.
Cynthia couldn't help but hide her face and blush. She felt like she had met her soulmate. They were meant to be. She couldn't help but heat up after Ryker's words. She leaned closer to her lover's side, and tightened her arm around him. Ryker brought them together by holding her waist and pulling her closer. They walked all over the first level, second level, and even the fourth level of the village.
Ryker couldn't help but smile as he walked throughout the fourth level, glancing at his future woman every so often. He was enjoying the life he had.

A humble old figure could be seen around a small tank of a red molten liquid in his modern home. This was Lance who had been melting his Treats for the past month. He was immensely grateful for his position as Sugar Knight, and he didn't need any Treats to show that.
However, Lance didn't feel like actually destroying the money, for he was paid by the king personally. He poured the molten red liquid in a mold in the shape of a small thin blade. He grabbed the mold, unbothered by the scalding heat. He placed it in a small shelf he kept to place the molds in.
The next day he went outside going down, all the way to the bottom level of the kingdom's village. He received many bows out of respect as he walked down the stairs. A few elder ladies smiled slightly blushing as they saw the built man that was Lance.
"Oh Lance, so good to see you!" An old man came out of a stone building.
This man was the best blacksmith in the entire bottom level of the village. Lance was confident enough to even say that he was the best blacksmith in all of Sweeten. His name was Antoine and he had been a blacksmith ever since his dad taught him when he was only a little boy.
Antoine welcomed Lance into his building, which was a blacksmith shop. There were all sorts of pieces of metals, tools, different blades, and a few weapons. Lance walked to the front, ignoring the rest of the merchandise around, as he had already known what he came for. Antoine nodded, handing his self crafted molds. Lance could've just made his own molds, but he preferred a more skilled person to do it.
"Pleasure doing business with you as always, Antoine." Lance thanked him, then walked out, heading back to his home.
As he got home he went back to his workplace, and tested out his new molds, finding the shape of the mold perfectly shaped for his project. He smiled as he knew the king would love a new blade made from Treats as a gift from him. He smiled contentedly, as he continued to work. He was enjoying the life he had.

A certain little girl played in a small pond near a public park in the second level of the village of Sweeten. She giggled and spun around having fun with a baby Chocu that had followed her home, when she left her house without her parents noticing. The baby Chocu clapped its feet together happily, as it hung on the little girl's arm.
Nia was a happy little girl who loved to explore. She had turned 5 years old recently so now she felt more confident in exploring. She always told her mom that she was a big girl and that she should be allowed to go outside. With or without her parents' awareness, she always managed to leave her home and explore the village and the outside of it. Her innocence and her happy energy never went unnoticed by the Chocus resting nearby though. They always ended up following her home.
The sky was a light pink and the clouds had a transparent green. The sun was up, shining a bright red. Nia continued to play with her new pet baby Chocu, Messy. Her and Messy, splashed in the pond, then spun around in circles giggling together. Then they fell on the ground gently, ending on top of each other, hugging as they drifted off to sleep happily.

The clear bright skies were cut short as the the scene shifted into the present. Dark purple clouds, and bright green clouds, moving faster than usual. The warship cry froze a few elder villagers in fear. A few started to cry.
Linnie, and Ryker were confused as to what the big roar was until they looked up at the sky noticing a horrifyingly massive ship. Suddenly the ship produced a loud high piercing noise that lasted for a few seconds before, the white metal plates from the front of the ship slid inside, revealing a large thin glowing circle. It was a colossal piece of weaponry that radiated in terror and power. The glow proceeded to slowly brighten.
The majority of the village ran towards the front gate in a panic. The younger children and the villagers at higher levels struggled harder due to having to descend the stairway in a hurry. Most ended up slipping and falling.

King Dulcee currently sat at his throne, with the new painting of himself on his Black Licorice Basilisk model, was displayed on the wall behind him. The painter had exaggerated the proportions of the monster, just like the king had requested.
A few days ago he had meditated for 3 days straight. The king liked to do it because it calmed fatigue and hunger, but it also helped him focus on his magic power.
So far the only
spikes he had picked up were from Doan, Ryker, and Mary. He didn't think much of it since they were somehow immune to his magic.
He rose up from his throne, and walked out the doors of the room, a Sugar Knight stood outside of the doorway. He could never seem to remember the name of the knight.
'Hmm was it Bert? Bit? Beat?' King Dulcee wondered. He gave a small nod of acknowledgement to the forgotten knight, and walked through the purple corridor. The knight hit his spear on the ground, then walked the opposite way, going on a lunch break.
The king descended down the floors of the castle going down to the second level. He walked into a large room with smooth black stone furnishing the ground. The room was filled with hot steam and there was a large pool, with a rack filled with towels near it. He quickly stripped and stepped inside the warm pool. His body slowly sank as he walked even further. He sighed in relief, soaking up the warm temperatures of the water.
After he relaxed in his bathhouse, he left and went down the stairs to the first floor to get himself a bite to eat. He ran his fingers along the rocky purple brick walls. He looked at Rena who seemed to be in the kitchen cleaning up the mess she made, in order to make a few snacks for the king.
King Dulcee approached the kitchen, and grabbed a piece of the individual foods that were placed o a long flat tray made from metal. Rena used this tray to make cookies. The king's favorite, glazed Pel Candy blood chip cookies. He grabbed 2 cookies and popped an entire one into his mouth. He walked into the kitchen and out of it, taking a tray of cookies with him. He was enjoying himself indulging in his favorite sweets, until he felt a massive spike from Mary. One that made his neck feel cold. He rubbed his neck in a way to soothe the cold feeling. He held the tray tight, continuing to walk as he did so. He took a left from the kitchen. Entering a different purple corridor now. On this side of the floor, he had extra rooms for his knights to sleep in, his rooms filled with weapons, and his room filled with books and journals of his old work.
He entered his research room, placing the cookie tray on his desk. He opened the journal he had on his desk, and read the front page. Then he closed the book, at another cookie, and looked outside his window. He decided to reread his journal. When he finished rereading, the sky was no longer bright and he didn't have time to write in it.
Suddenly he felt an unbelievably enormous spike in magic from something that entered the atmosphere. The king, in a hurry climbed out the window, using his hands to climb to the top of the castle. He put his fingers under a wall with a slit on the bottom, then lifted himself, finally arriving at the top.
His eyes widened in terror as he saw the hovering mass in the sky. He could tell it was a warship, but he couldn't tell from what nation. His thoughts were cut off by a bright light that started glowing a bright golden yellow. The king had no time to stall, he panicked, quickly jumping off the top of the castle, but not before launching himself forwards, going over one entire level of the village.
While he fell, he focused a certain energy at the palms, and the bracelet around his wrist began to shine a dim pink. Suddenly a pink platform was formed instantaneously, from his hands. The platform slid down, and broke his fall. He started sprinting, at his maximum speed. He didn't know what the glow of the warship could induce, but he was sure it would cause devastation.
He ran forwards, descending the village levels. He enhanced his speed with his magic and ran towards the front gate, in a blur.

Art heard the roar of the hovering piece of weaponry. He simply didn't understand what it meant. It could've meant many things. He was technically only a child, so he didn't remember much to begin with. It didn't help that he had a severe case of amnesia.
He looked at the sky as the ship revealed a large ring that began to glow. He heard screams of panic coming from the stairs, and ran towards it, hoping to get information. Doan followed, but Ryker stayed in the food and prizes tent. Art quickly stepped out of the way, before he was taken down by a crowd of fleeing villagers. The feelings of fear, anxiety, and intimidation could be heard from the running mass.
Before he could speak, a blur of color passed him. 10 seconds after the blur passed them, another loud piercing noise from the ship followed. the glowing increased, producing a blinding light.
The pressure blew the trees away, and lit up the entire field nearby, which was darkened by the sky. The beam fired with the sound of 100 whistles, almost sounding like a choir. It was massive, the size of an entire country.

Nia watched the sky in awe with her head tilted to the side as she saw the big glowing object. She wanted to run back home and tell her mommy and daddy that a big star had come down to give her a wish. She turned around when a light screech was heard in the sky, and she smiled. The last thing she saw was a beam of light, that covered everything around her.
A group of villagers ran down the stairs trying to escape the village. They pushed each other slightly, their wishes to survive crossing their boundaries of respect. They were approaching the gate when a loud piercing noise could be heard. Their faces struck in unimaginable fear when the last thing they saw was a beam of light that covered the entire area around them.
The beam of light, with a width of over 10,000 miles, covered the entire area, and emitted a loud chirp. It disintegrated everything that crossed its path. Art stood in shock, as the yellow beam went right past him, curving away from behind him. The entire beam had formed an air bubble around him and Doan, who had been standing next to him for. He saw houses disappear, villagers turned to dust, and the grass blackened. The stairs were destroyed along with everything. When the chirp of the beam stopped, the air cleared and Art's eyes widened in shock.
He didn't even recognize where he was. It was a bare field of black grass, on top of an elevated field. No buildings could be seen, and the castle was nowhere in sight.
The village of Sweeten, had been destroyed.
