Venom

The girl let go of the door for Veronica to enter the house after receiving the money. She stepped into the small living room, while removing her sunshades to have a better look at the house. It was just a space that had everything. A three seater chair pushed to the far end of the wall. A small TV placed on a table. A three seater dining table in the kitchen area and a space made for the tiny bedroom for two people. A small screen door led to their mini bathroom and that was it.

One window from the kitchen area with two ceiling fans for ventilation. One in the bedroom and the other working tirelessly above them in the living area. Veronica walked around the whole space before settling on one of the chairs the girl pulled for her to sit on. The girl sat across the small round table and introduced herself to Veronica as Juliet.

''Juliet?''

She nodded.

''Well, Juliet. I am Veronica. The wife of the demon lord, Rayven.''
