My TV remote was thrown furiously at the couch as I was frustrated seeing the Pakistan national cricket team lose again and this time, they exceeded expectations when they lost to an associate cricket team like USA, The National team has always had its ups and downs due to inconsistent performances of players and the everchanging debacle of the changes in the cricket board and its management. We have now completely broken down due to lack of proper leaders on the ground and grouping in the dressing room. My name is Abdullah, and I am currently a software engineer who once enjoyed and wanted to play cricket professionally but never pursued the dream due to the patriarchal pressure of society. Although I earn well enough, I am not living the life I want, and I am quite depressed by it. By watching them play like this a fleeing thought crossed my mind that if I was on the ground maybe I could have made a difference, but that part of my life was gone now and not coming back. I was going to get something to eat for dinner down the street when suddenly as I was crossing the street to bikers came to steal my phone and due to my wallet dropping out of my anxious shivering, they shot at me in panic as I died alone on the streets of Karachi.
