CHAPTER 24

Stephanie went back into the company and she told Jaden about Sofia and he was surprised and angry.

"How dare she come to threaten you" he said angrily.

"Who is she to you?" She asked.

"She is just an obsessed bitch" he replied.

"Okay" she said.

"I will be in my office" she replied feeling a bit angry.

Jaden saw her angry expression and he made to call her back but she is out already.

He sighed and continue his work.

Stephanie got to her office and she sat down fuming in anger.

She thought he is cheating on her.

Noah was beside Elisa in her ward when he notice her hand moving.

He thought he was imagining things when her hand moved again and slowly her eyes open.

He quickly stood up and look at her.

He rush out to call the doctor and later the doctor went in with her.

Elisa opened her eyes and it was blurry so she close it and open it again after a while.

She began looking around to see where she is and she was about getting up when the doctor and Noah came in and Noah quickly rush to her and help her up.

The doctor also move to her and check her then he saw she is okay but she feels pain in some places.

The doctor left later after checking her up and Noah call her parents and her friends to tell them the news.

In a twinkle of an eye they were all present in the ward and they her mum rush to her and hug her.

Thank God you are awake.

"How many days have I been here?" She asked.

"You have been here for a year now" Noah answered her and she gasped.

"Wow so I have been unconscious for that long"

"That doesn't matter anymore, since you are awake now" her mother said.

The news later travelled around the country and her fans became so happy about her come back.

They went to the hospital and they rush in with joy.

The staff were not able to control them so they let them be.

They got into Elisa's ward and then they gave her gifts and they began hugging her one by one.

"Thank God you are awake our amazing writer, we can't wait to see you back on your feet" one of the people said.

After some minutes they all left and went back outside.

Elisa's ward was full of gifts and wishes from her fans.

Sofia and her accomplice heard that she is awake and they were both fuming in anger.

"How dare she be alive, was enjoying my life without her and now she is back and I will make sure I crush her" Sofia said angrily.

"We need to make sure she is gone forever this time around" her accomplice said.

Emily also was enjoying her life as she is being adored as a good writer but when she hear of Elisa's come back she felt threatened and became angry.

"Now that she is awake she will gain the spotlight again" she said.

"I wish she is gone forever" she said feeling sad.

The award agency also heard of her survival and they were happy she is back and are now ready to go on with the award event.

Jaden and Stephanie close from work later in the evening and they both went into the car.

Jaden tried to apologize to Stephanie but she did not accept.

"You see, she is just a girl I helped when I was with Elisa but she later fell in love with me but I made her understand I don't want her and she keeping on acting bitchy" he explained.

"Well, I forgive and believe you" she said finally looking at him and smile at him.

"Thank you darling, I promise I will never hurt you" he said and she nodded and they both kiss shortly before they drove off.

After a week, Elisa has fully recovered and she was discharged and taken home.

They got home and they made her rest then they make food for her and she ate then she sleep.

Her friends left after a while but her mother could not leave.

She insist on staying with her till she began working again.

Elisa's staff also heard about her recovery and they went to her house to greet her.

They got there and found her sleeping in her room.

They left after a while and went back to their place.

Later in the evening Elisa woke up stronger and more healthy.

She left her room after she woke up and Noah rush to her.

"How are you doing now darling? " she asked.

"I am perfectly okay" she said stretching her body for him to see.

He laugh with the way she twist her body.

After he made her sit and she went to hug her mum.

"I thought I am invisible" she said jokingly.

"I am sorry mum, it is just that I miss him a lot" she said referring to Noah.

"So you don't miss me? " she asked.

"Do I smell jealousy? " she asked.

"I am not jealous, I just want to know if you miss me or not" she said.

"I miss you so much also" she said and then hug her again.

Later in the evening her mum left so as to give them privacy.

After her mum left Noah took her in a bridal style to the bedroom and they began making love to each other as they got in.

Emily was not happy that Elisa is back on her feet because she feels she is a threat to her.

After a week, the award is finally taken place.

Elisa dress up in a good dress and was going into her car with Noah by her side.

They both enter the car and drove to the place the event is taken place.

They got there and everywhere was already crowded so they find a place to seat.

Some minutes later the event started.

Emily was mong the crowd glaring at Elisa.

She was afraid she will loose the award to her.

Somewhere among the crowd was Sofia and her accomplice sitting and also glaring hatefully at Elisa.

They wish they could do something to stop the event but they could not.

After awards were given out and the winner made their speeches thy went to sit.

Now it is time for the award of the best writer of the year.

"It is the time we are all waiting for, the award for the best writer of the year goes to.....
