The cold windblown up my face as Poison galloped as fast as he could, his feet barely touching the snow-covered ground while he cantered as if we were being chased, chased by blizzards in his case...and, in mine, chased by haunted unbearable memories of Xenia.

Some days, I promised and it's been eight days today and I was still running away...running away from her, her love even from her shadow. I thought I will confess to Father Alexander and everything will be back to normal, but then, I found some other priest, living in his rectory and he told me, Alexander was called back to his country, in my country, England. And there I was right now, to home, to one unbearable emotion to another painful memory.
