Over?

Zane lay on the ground, his leg throbbing in pain from the beam that had pierced it. He gritted his teeth, trying to push the pain aside and focus on escaping. The boy who attacked him stood in front of him, preparing for his next move.

"You are finished," the boy said with an expressionless face as he raised his hand to deliver another attack.

Zane's mind raced. He knew he couldn't win in this state. His body was already strained from the earlier battle, and his leg injury made it nearly impossible to fight back effectively.

He quickly surveyed his surroundings, looking for an escape route. The dense forest offered some cover, and he spotted a narrow path between the trees that might give him a chance to lose his attacker.
