The Coming to The Party

Baraion stood on the centre table and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Mom, Dad, Otho, where are you? Come out."

All three came out one by one. The first one was Zyphon Dracul, father of Baraion, a vampire almost 200 years old. He was enjoying his life of retirement with his wife, Fleya, a woman of short height, chubby, who loves luxury. She married a rich vampire as she was the personification of a gold digger. Now, all they did was spend money on vacations and luxury.

"What happened? Why are you shouting?" asked Zyphon.

"What is going on? What happened, Baraion?" Fleya came out of her room. She was covered with diamond jewellery all over her body. Her glowing skin was enough to give competition to young ladies. She was too beautiful in her youth and still looked stunning.

"Is everything alright, Bro?" Othorion asked from the first-floor stairs. He slowly descended the stairs.

"Everything is alright. I just called you all to tell you that we are going to party together," said Baraion and climbed down from the table.

"You… you are going to the pa… party?" yelled Othorion, surprised.

"Why is that so surprising? I can go to parties too," Baraion defended himself.

"Of course, you can, dear," said Fleya and patted Baraion on his back.

"So, I have rented a limo, we all will go in style in the evening," informed Baraion.

"Yeah, right, style after losing to those Tauraks?" mocked Zyphon.

"It is to show them, that we lost the battle, but we will win the war," said Baraion with gusto.

"Can we just let the battle and war go and enjoy the party?" asked Othorion.

"No, your brother is right. We have to go in style to show them we are still in the battleground, ready to fight," Zyphon was on Baraion's side. Othorion rolled his eyes at his father and his brother.

"This is stupid, you don't even know why you are fighting, why you are carrying his fight on," complained Othorion.

"This is something you should not concern yourself with. It's my fight now, and I will never accept defeat," said Baraion.

"What if I want to be friends with Tauraks and not enmity, like you guys," contrasted Othorion.

"Haaa… as if Tauraks will do friendship with you. They will use you and throw you out," chided Baraion.

"You don't know that," shouted Othorion.

"No one knows that better than me."

"But Bara!"

"Otho! Trust me, stay away from Tauraks. Now everyone, go and get ready. The limo will arrive around 7.30. I don't want to be late," announced Baraion. He turned to move towards his room when he whispered, "I want to see expressions on someone's face. It would be better if she saw me entering the party."

"What?" inquired Othorion as he heard a slight whisper.

"Nothing, just get ready. We should look the best."

"Don't worry son, we will look the best," said Fleya.

All were ready by 7.30. The limousine arrived right on time.

"Everyone will look at us, we are looking so nice," commented Fleya with a big smile on her face.

"Let's get going. We have to stop at some places on the way," said Baraion.

"What? Where?" asked Othorion. He wanted to urgently reach the party. He knew Talilia would be waiting for him.

"You will find out," said Baraion.

They all sat in the car and the car moved toward its destination. The limo stopped at three places, and they picked up all the girlfriends of Baraion. They were looking hot. It didn't bother Baraion. All he wanted was to see Talindra's face. He wanted to see her sad and jealous and angry.

They arrived in style at the party. The limo stopped at the entrance of the RMS building, and they entered. Drelduin and Edhelriel greeted them.

"Welcome, all of you. Baraion! I was not expecting you but wished you came, and you brought your date as promised," said Drelduin.

"I do things that are not expected from me," said Baraion with vanity.

"Well enjoy the party, welcome."

"How are you, Drelduin?" asked Zyphon.

"I am well, Zyphon. Fleya dear, you are looking as beautiful as ever," Drelduin greeted the elders.

"Aw… thank you, dear. Talk about yourself. I think you are the most handsome person at this party," said Fleya and batted her eyes at Drelduin.

"Thank you, Aunty, you are the only one who praises me," said Drelduin and looked at Edhelriel. She rolled her eyes at him. Fleya was sightly irked when Drelduin called her aunty.

"What about Ilyrana, is she coming?" asked Fleya.

"No, you won't see Mom here tonight," replied Drelduin.

"Is she okay?" asked Zyphon.

"Of course, she is just fed up with corporate parties and her Luna duties. She thinks I should get married soon and find a new Luna. Find someone for me please," replied Drelduin.

"If I had been young, I would have married you in a jiffy," winked Fleya.

"Ha-ha, so funny. Please come in and enjoy, others are waiting to get in," interrupted Edhelriel as she saw some more guests arriving and waiting for the Draculs to enter.

"Oh sure, sure, dear," said Fleya and the Dracul clan went in.

Baraion was not interested in talking to anyone. He was looking for a particular person, but it seemed as if she didn't arrive. He knew that she too hated parties like him. What if she was not coming, all this would have been for nothing. He prayed to God to send her to the party. He had to one-up her at any cost.

"See, that good-looking man with three hot girls." Othorion turned Talilia in the opposite direction and pointed out a man standing near a pillar with three hot girls. One girl was in white, the other one was in blue and the last one was in a black dress. Everyone kept staring at them. Their dresses were tight-fitted with high thigh slits.

"Hey!" Talilia punched him on his arm.

"What? They are not as hot as you," said Othorion and winked at her.

"Better."

"Well, he is my elder brother," informed Othorion.

"What? Wow! He is so…" Talilia had no words for him. He was a tall, strongly built man with a rugged face. He was wearing a royal blue three-piece suit and had a comb-over hairstyle. His look and his style made him stand out in the room filled with people.

"So…?" asked Othorion.

"Yummy," blurted out Talilia.

"Hey! Stop staring at him," shouted Othorion.

"Just admiring your elder brother," said Talilia.

"Admiring your elder brother," taunted Othorion in an annoyed voice. He grabbed her face and made her look at him. "You only look at me."

"Yes, sir," she said and teasingly curtsied at him. He laughed out loud. "Is it for the first time he came to these parties?"

"Yes, we all were shocked, more shocked when he invited those girls. First, he never comes to party and today he came with three girls, bizarre."
