Chapter thirty four

Marcus returned home, visibly upset. When Dana saw him, she wondered what had made him so angry, especially since he had left home earlier in a good mood.

"What's wrong?" she asked him.

"I don't want Alina to come to this house. She can't live with us," he said, clearly furious.

"Why?" Dana asked, irritated.

"Well, she's a traitor," he said, fuming.

"What do you mean, traitor? What exactly did she do that made you call her that?"

"She's now Evan's girlfriend. After everything I told her, she still went ahead and dated him."

"Who told you she was Evan's girlfriend? Did she tell you that herself?"

"No, Evan did. And she stood there and listened. Not only that, she's now Evan's defender. When Evan and I had a little tussle, you should have seen how she took his side. I mean, she's so dumb and stupid. How can she not see that Evan is a jerk and plain evil?"
