Chapter sixty six

Hector, Dana, Marcus, and the two Elders, James and Ted, stepped out of the mansion and saw Evan with some members of his pack standing just outside their compound. The tension in the air was evident.

Evan's eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the Elders. He quickly bowed his head in respect. "Elders," he greeted them solemnly.

Hector, on the other hand, was seething with anger. "What are you doing on my property, Evan? You'll pay for stepping foot here," he spat out, his voice dripping with hostility.

Evan straightened, meeting Hector's furious gaze. "Alpha Hector, I have every right to be here," he responded, his tone measured. "Last time, Marcus and his friends crossed into our territory during my pack's night run."

"Since we are even now, you can leave my property," Hector declared, his voice cold and dismissive.
