Chapter sixty nine

Alina woke up to an unsettling sight. She was surrounded by candles of various colors, their flames casting eerie shadows on the walls. Her heart pounded as she realized Evan was holding her hands, Kendra had a firm grip on her legs, and Emma was perched on top of her, her hands pressing down on Alina's head.

"What is going on? Get off me!" Alina cried out, her voice echoing in the room. She struggled desperately, trying to break free from their hold, but their grip was ironclad.

"Leave me alone," Alina pleaded, her voice trembling. "I told you I won't say anything to anyone. I won't tell anyone you kidnapped me. I even told you, Evan, that I would date you and leave Marcus for you, Kendra. So, let me go."

Kendra's smile was wicked, sending chills down Alina's spine. "I'm sorry, Alina, but we can't trust your words."
