Alina made her way back to the pack quarters, her mind still racing with everything Emma had told her. The weight of the possible attack on the pack hung heavy over her thoughts, but as she entered the crowded area, she suddenly bumped into Lizzy, who looked uneasy.

"Should I leave?" Lizzy asked, her voice laced with concern. "Marcus is angry that I'm here. I don't want to cause any trouble."

Alina frowned, shaking her head firmly. "No, you should stay. Marcus is just overreacting. You belong here as much as anyone else."

Alina smiled gently, trying to reassure her friend. "Joe won't be mad, Lizzy. I'm sure he'll be happy to see you. You should tell him how you feel."

Lizzy hesitated, her nervousness evident. "I don't know if I can… What if he doesn't feel the same way?"
