"Think again," David roared. In an instant, his surroundings was filled with wild purple thunder, pushing the blades away.
But just as he was about to move, his face fell. The space around him seemed to be contracting, preventing him from moving forward. If that wasn't enough, his speed had been significantly reduced—not just his, but even of the purple lightning crackling around him.
However, the pause was only momentary, as everything returned to normal in the next moment.
