The tea session ended with both of them arguing, and it worried the middle-aged woman who contemplated telling Veronica or saving her head.

Elias was discussing something with Rio and they looked serious as they went through some files together.

"Has he been caught?" Elias asked, referring to one of the criminals who escaped while Rio's men were operating today.

Originally, Elias was supposed to follow them to town but the session he had today hindered him from leaving the castle. After what just happened today, he will be leaving with them tomorrow to prevent more casualties.

"Alpha king, we found some transactions in the old man's safe but there is a problem." Rio disclosed, handing Elias a ledger.
