Staring at the now-ended call on his phone, Elias clicked his tongue and turned to face Tessa, different thoughts spiraling in his mind.

He had no idea if she would agree to never leave the castle again, but he knew there was a one percent chance and it would be best not to bring it up. But, given the impending threat the witch had displayed, he was not sure he would ever let her go again.

Monica's death continues to haunt him to this day, and while he does not love Tessa, the thought of losing her is enough to drive him insane.
