That night, the silence hung over them like a suffocating fog. They slipped into their beds, exhaustion overtaking their tense minds. The only sound was the soft rustle of blankets as they drifted into a restless sleep.

Morning came with the faint glow of sunlight filtering through the narrow windows. The silence of the night was broken by a knock on the door, followed by a servant's voice. "Breakfast will be served in the dining hall shortly."
