Bye Senior

Finally, the d-day had come. The day where they would kick Mu Bai out of there group. Just the though of him getting the same grades as them, as he play all day was enough to make Mingze's blood rise. It was a relief he doesn't have a highblood or he would have long collapsed from anger.

Mingze wore a simple outfit, a shirt, sweatpants and some white running shoes then grabbed the baseball cup on his table.

They were going to meet at a cafe in front of the school. Fen Yichen told him he had a prior schedule, so only Mingze would meet with him and talk about kicking him out of the group. This is also good, since nobody would stop him from talking. The only reason it took this long after all was because of Fen Yichen giving Mu Bai multiple chances like some saint.

If it were up to him he would confront him immediately.

The door made a clinking sound as the bell swayed everytime the door opens.

"Welcome!"

The waiter at the front greeted Mingze coming in, he smiled and nod at the waiter welcoming him.

Mu Bai was near the window mixing his drink in an attempt to cure the boredome while waiting for Xie Mingze, he looked deep in thought. Also, it looks like he was with someone.

"Fancy, seeing youy here Mingze." His words were polite, but it was like someone spitting out venom.

Seeing two of his enemies together was annoying. Xie Mingze won't say anything, but he suspected it was Oliver who put the thumbtacks on his shoes that time. The only one who have the motif was this guy, after being turned into an understudy he didn't particularly hid the hate he was feeling towards Mingze.

Despite his hunch, he can't openly point fingers at anyone. There was no evidence and pointing fingers wouldn't change the outcome anymore. Seeing him here with Senior leave a bad after taste in his mouth after all.

"What are you doing here Oliver?"

"I accidentally saw senior Mu on my way here and he invited me to have a cup of coffee."

"Then senior doesn't mind even if Oliver overhear our conversation right?"

Mingze raised on his eyebrows as he glanced at the two of them. "I'll be back after ordering something to drink."

Although he was pretty sure their conversation would be over quickly. This would be the last chance he would be giving to Mu Bai. While lining up to buy his americano and empanada, he was still deep in though. Fen Yichen had already warned him not to say anything that could possibly use against him and if possible voice record the whole conversation so there would be an evidence.

He put down his plate and coffee with a thud, before seating in front of him.

"Senior Mu Bai, you didn't attend any of our meetings not even once. Did you even bother watching the movie?"

"Of course I watched it..hahaha"

"Then what is the story of the movie?"

"Isn't it a romance."

Obviously, he never watched the movie. The fundamental thing they need to do in this project, then that's that, there is no need to think anymore about it. Mingze glared at Mu Bai before dropping down the final verdict.

"I guess this is where we parts way. We would not include you in the group, you still have a week from now to make something and pass to the professor."

"How could you just kick me out all of the sudden?"

"This was never sudden to begin. The moment you thought you could get a free ride with this group was your first mistake. It was only because of Fen Yichen that it took this long, if it were up to me then… Nevermind there are some things better off unsaid."

Saying less was better. The moment he thought it was about to leave, the completely uninvolved person opened his mouth.

"I don't think you are fair to Senior Mu."

"Oh."

Oliver still protected their completely useless groupmate without knowing anything at all. This is why unrelated people shouldn't bother getting involve in the conversation in the first place. They only know one side of the story and their bias is showing.

"I would like to listen to you, but Oliver you aren't part of the group are you?"

"Just let it be Oliver, I know I had been negligent about my health it was my fault."

Trying to pull the pity card worked on Oliver since he hadn't been here when Senior Mu was pushing down all his juniors, it was precisely because he entered the university when Senior Mu was doing his military service that he knew nothing about him. If it was the other juniors, then nobody would believe a single thing he said.

"If he was sick then you should've give him a pass. You're a tyrant Xie Mingze."

Xie Mingze laughed, not one bit angry. He just found this whole situation funny, one was playing a play and the other was easily convinced. Oliver was too guliable he couldn't help but laugh out loud with disdain.

"I guess being sick means going to beach and drinking all day long. If that is what it means to be sick then I would like to be sick too."

"What do you mean?"

He was a fool, Xie Mingze doesn't want to bother explaining it to him. He should try hanging out with Senior Mu, then the moment he got a taste of his real character he would know.

"I won't bother explaining to you, since you're unrelated to this whole thing. Senior Mu, I already told our professor that we would kick you out of the group so it wouldn't work even if you complain. Ah, also we got the approval so don't bother revoking the decision."

Xie Mingze lied with a straight face, he was just about to send the message to the professor. Though its not like they would know.
