The professor for their subject is a bit old fashioned, they were required to save their work in a flashdrive. Xie Mingze arrived early and was fixing all the documents and ppt one last time before the presentation.

"Oi Xie Mingze! You really dared to take my name off the group?"

That time at the cafe, he thought it would be a bluff, Mu Bai fully believed the lower year are afraid of him and would not really dare to take his name off. 

"I clearly told you the last time I would take if off. It's your fault you didn't do anything for yourself."

"If I fail this subject, it would be your fault for being such a cry baby. Do you even have a conscience? I would repeat another year if I fail this."

Xie Mingze rolled his eyes, 'not my problem.'

"Why should I take responsibility for something you did yourself?"

"You kids doesn't really know how to respect their elders!"

He raised his hand in an attempt to hit Mingze, seeing an opportunity Xie Mingze just closed his eyes waiting for the pain to hit him. If the senior hit him, he would be over. Despite hating pain, he readily awaited the result with baited breath.

"What do you think you're doing?"

A familiar voice. 

It was Oliver. Surprised, Xie Mingze didn't expect he would help him. 

"Violence is against the school policies, if you have somethign to talk about then talk it out properly."

The last time he saw Oliver, he was with Mu Bai. It was a complete surprise that he helped him. 

"I know Mingze offended you but violence is never the answer."

Xie Mingze rolled his eyes at their show. Now it looked like he was the one at fault. He found their exchange annoying. The professor would be here in a few minutes, he decided to grab his phone and wallet then leave. 

It would be annoying to stay here any longer. 

"Thank for the help, I'll be leaving now."

Enough with the farce he needs to leave to avoid catching any of their disease. 

Xie Mingze left the room not knowing that would be his biggest mistake. Still he didn't know at that time.

Since it was the day of the presentation, all the students arrived almost an hour before the professor, they were busy fixing the things for their presentation. For the two of them, it was decided that Fen Yichen would be the one performing. He had way with words and it was beneficial if they could wow their prof.

"I'll take the flashdrive."

"Wait, I'll get it in my bag."

Rustle.

Mingze started searching through his bag. He thought he might've had misplaced it and started removing the things inside one by one. At this point Fen Yichen noticed something was wrong. 

Deeply stressed by the missing flashdrive, he felt like he wanted to cry blood. Mingze worked on it for almost a month and now it's missing. 

"Don't worry I have an extra flashdrive, we could use that for the presentation. Anyways we have a back up so all is good."

"I clearly remember leaving it here."

He doubled check and even saw it before leaving so why is suddenly not there? It's like a ghost had taken it away. 

"Don't worry I'll take care of it. Don't stress yourself too much. I'll handle it. "

Fen Yichen gently pat his head and forced him to sit down back to his seat. He did calm down a bit when the ice cold hands started stroking his hair and then his face. It helped Mingze calm down a bit. He was glad he kept multiple copies of the version inside the drive and could access it in different device or else he would be screwed. 

But the funniest thing in those whole affair was when the professor arrived. Mu Bai confidently raised his hand wanting to go first. His anger of being excluded in the group was nowhere to be found. It was like magic.

He suddenly gained too much confidence like he prepared for this moment for months. The professor gave the go signal since Mu Bai was so eager, Xie Mingze quietly watched the show he prepared. 

If only their presentation was not the thing being presented for the whole class to listen to. 

It was simply angering. If he looks could kill he would be thousand times dead. The familiar striking red flashdrive was inserted in his laptop. 

"I was recently excluded by my groupmates, because Mingze doesn't like me. So I decided to leave the group and make this presentation in a week."

The people inside the room turned to look at Mingze. Xie Mingze gnashed his teeth in annoyance, he was careless. He shouldn't had left the flashdrive in his bag alone. He felt annoyed at himself but still anxious on what should be done. 

He tugged at the person's sleeves beside him. Fen Yichen did not show any emotions on his face, he looked ahead at Mu Bai like he was a dead man. When he turned to the anxious Mingze he only grabbed his hands and caress it to reassure him that everything would be fine.

"Ehem, unlike the normal route, I decided to compose something light and hopeful for this movie. I thought it would be more fun to make the ost comedic and fresh hoping for more adventure for the characters." His words were the notes written inside.

It was honestly frustrating how his work got stolen. Xie Mingze wanted to strangle him, he glanced at Oliver wondering if he was involved with it. Did they plan it together? Did they think of that fake scenario so he would leave the classroom?

Someone stealing his music was unacceptable.

"Professor let me play the music for everyone to hear."

The melodious music started playing along with the movie's ending scene. It gave off a new feeling of possibly having a second movie instead of it ending there, it gave people hope that there would be more to the adventure.
