A Minor Incident At the Music Festival

This Saturday was sunny, and Tang Qing invited Li Xi and Lei CIN to the music festival; three girls arrived at the venue after carefully dressing up. The gradually gathering crowd was filled with an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation.

Tang Qing wore a tight-fitting pink spaghetti-strap dress, revealing her slender legs. Her slightly curled hair, delicate eye makeup, and vibrant red lips made her look stunning. She clung to Li Xi's arm, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Li Xi wore a casual denim outfit, and her neat hairstyle complemented her beautiful features. She occasionally stole glances at Tang Qing, her face beaming with happiness. Lei Xin wore a blue spaghetti strap dress, her slightly curled hair and natural-looking makeup exuding a charming aura, her gaze revealing her longing for the music festival.

The three girls entered the venue, and the overwhelming music immediately engulfed them. The massive speakers blasted, and the pulsing beats resonated in every person's heart. The crowd swayed and danced to the rhythm of the music, with shouts and cheers echoing throughout.

Tang Qing, Li Xi, and Lei Xin excitedly weaved through the crowd, moving their bodies in sync with the music. They waved their arms, reveling in the pure joy. Guided by the music, they forgot all their worries and immersed themselves in its captivating allure.

"Wooo~ This is so much fun!" Tang Qing shouted, gesturing to Li Xi and Lei Xin to join

her in taking over the dance floor. The three girls linked arms and danced to the music, exuding the vibrant energy of youth.

Just as they were enjoying the dance, a commotion suddenly erupted from a nearby area. The crowd became agitated, and people started screaming.

"What's going on?" Li Xi asked, puzzled.

The three girls pushed through the crowd to see what had happened. They saw a man arguing furiously with the event staff, his face contorted with anger.

"How dare you restrict my entry? I paid a hefty price for the VIP ticket!" the man shouted.

It turned out that the man had been barred from entering the inner area of the venue by the event staff despite having a VIP ticket. Enraged, he accused the staff of unjustly limiting his freedom of movement.

"Sir, I'm sorry, but according to the event management protocol, you must follow the staff's instructions. We'll resolve this issue for you as soon as possible," the staff member explained calmly.

"Hmph, what event management? You're just bullying us, the paying customers!" the man continued to yell, refusing to listen to the explanation.

Seeing the situation escalate, Tang Qing, Li Xi, and Lei Xin instinctively huddled together, concerned that something unexpected might happen. They worried about a more considerable disturbance and quickly tried to find a way to leave the chaotic area.

Suddenly, someone nearby shouted, "The police are here, run!"

Several police officers were swiftly approaching to maintain order at the scene. Seeing this, the man finally fell silent and was reluctantly escorted away by the police.

Unfortunately, Tangqing's arm was shoved in the chaos, resulting in a painful cut. Blood trickled down her arm, causing her significant discomfort.

"Tangqing, are you alright?" Li Xi and Lei Xin hurried over to check on her.

Tangqing gritted her teeth, enduring the pain as she nodded weakly. "I'm fine; someone just pushed me."

The two good friends quickly located medical staff and helped Tangqing treat the wound. Although the bleeding had stopped, the throbbing pain in her arm made it difficult for Tangqing to enjoy the musical performance fully.

"Let's go back," Lei Xin suggested, seeing Tangqing's pained expression.

"Yes, we can come back again to appreciate the music together. For now, let's go," Li Xi agreed.

Just then, Tangqing's phone rang - a call from Yanyan. "Excuse me, I need to take this," Tangqing said, stepping aside.

"Hello?" Tangqing answered. Yanyan's voice was gentle as she asked, "Qingqing, where are you?"

"I'm at the music festival; I'll tell you more later," Tangqing replied. "I'm coming to pick you up, Qingqing; it's getting late," Yanyan immediately said. Before Tangqing could refuse, she accidentally hung up the phone. Tangqing didn't bother calling back and went to sit with Li Xi and the others, preparing to head back soon.

As they were about to leave the festival grounds, Tangqing's phone rang again. It was from Yanyan this time, and Tangqing couldn't help but sound a little irritated. "What is it?"

Yanyan's voice was gentle as she said, "I've arrived at the entrance. You can pretend to have run into me if you don't want me here. I won't put you in an awkward position, Qingqing. I want to take you home; it's so late."

Tangqing couldn't bring herself to refuse Yanyan's kind offer. "Alright," she replied.

The three girls then made their way to Yanyan's car. Tangqing feigned interest, saying, "This car looks pretty cool."

Beside her, Li Xi quickly realized the significance. "This must be Yanyan's car, with the license plate letters T and Y, standing for Tangqing and Yanyan."

"It is Yanyan's car," Lei Xin exclaimed excitedly.

At that moment, Yanyan's assistant, Zhang, rolled down the window. "What a coincidence, you're all here for the music festival too?"

"Assistant Zhang, what a coincidence! Is Mr. Yan also here for the music festival?" Li Xi's eyes lit up at the prospect of seeing Yanyan.

"Yes, Mr. Yan is here as well. It's quite late; let me give you all a ride back," Zhang offered.

"Thank you so much for the offer!" Li Xi said, preparing to sit in the row where Yanyan was.

However, Zhang, sensing Yanyan's discomfort, quickly intervened. "Miss, your dress is a bit short, so it might be more appropriate for you to sit in the other row." He gestured towards Tangqing.

"Assistant Zhang is considerate as always," Li Xi said graciously, despite her inner disappointment.

As soon as they got in the car, Li Xi began chattering incessantly. She was eager to capture Yanyan's attention, alternating between asking if he also enjoyed music festivals and what events he typically attended and inquiring about his other interests.

However, Yanyan's expression grew increasingly dark and even irritated. Seeing the scar on Tangqing's arm further soured his mood. With so many people present and Tangqing not allowing him to get close, Yanyan appeared resentful, almost like a sulking spouse.

"Miss Li, the boss is feeling a bit of a headache. Perhaps it's best not to disturb him further," Zhang, the assistant, tactfully intervened.

"Oh, I see. In that case, Mr. Yan, please feel free to rest," Li Xi responded, her expression slightly awkward. Inwardly, she cursed Zhang's perceived lack of courtesy.
