Robot's sense of taste

After a whole day of turmoil, Trinity hadn't eaten anything.

She walked to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, only to find that she hadn't gone grocery shopping because of Lambert's antics.

There were only some eggplants left in the fridge. Standing in front of the fridge, Trinity felt a bit embarrassed holding the eggplants, wondering what she could make with just these. "Oh, I'm so silly. Why do I even care?" Suddenly, Trinity smacked her forehead, thinking that a robot doesn't have taste buds.

No matter how bad the food is, he won't be able to tell, and if she makes something good, it would just waste her effort. Thinking of this, a sly smile gradually appeared on Trinity's face.

In less than ten minutes, Trinity walked over to Lambert with a plate in her hands. Since her hands were full, she lightly kicked Lambert with her foot.

"Hey! Food's ready! Are you going to eat or not?" She thought Lambert had run out of power, but as soon as she said that, Lambert immediately stood up.

"I'm starving! Whoever made you their robot must be cursed for eight generations." Lambert snatched the plate from Trinity's hands.

"What is this? It's all black?" Lambert looked at the long, dark objects on the plate, finding it hard to take a bite even though his stomach was already growling with hunger. "Braised eggplant. I said, are you going to eat or not? I made it for you with my own hands.

If you don't eat it, there's nothing I can do about it. These were the only ingredients left.

Blame yourself for not letting me go out yesterday." Trinity plopped down on the sofa, too lazy to look at Lambert.

"Who braises eggplant whole? Never mind, I'll let you off this time." Lambert said and then tried to pick up the eggplant and take a bite.

Throughout the whole process, Trinity watched Lambert out of the corner of her eye. She couldn't understand how a robot could be such a headache. Not only did he argue with her, but he also freeloaded.

Instead of a helpful assistant, it felt like she had adopted a troublesome father.

"What did you put in this? Why is it so sweet?" Lambert suddenly frowned while eating, then squatted down on the ground.

"I thought the eggplant was too bland, so I added some chocolate. How does it taste? Pretty good, right?" Trinity felt quite pleased seeing Lambert in discomfort.

Who knew that after hearing this, Lambert would collapse on the ground, foaming at the mouth. "Medicine... give me medicine, I'm allergic," Lambert said before passing out.

Trinity initially thought Lambert was faking it, but when she got closer, she realized something was really wrong with his body. "Seriously? Are you allergic to eggplant or chocolate?" Trinity was a bit disappointed, but looking at Lambert, it seemed he wasn't pretending.

"It really feels like I've adopted a troublesome father," Trinity muttered as she got up and walked out. Luckily, the hospital was just across the street. However, on the way, Trinity felt a bit frustrated. Not only did Lambert get hungry, but he was also picky and had allergies. And if that wasn't enough, he needed medicine for his allergies. Shouldn't a broken robot just need repairs?

With a heavy heart, Trinity finally bought the medicine and gave it to Lambert. After about half an hour, Lambert blinked his eyes and woke up. "Explain yourself clearly. Are you human or a robot? If you dare lie to me, I'll throw you out the window," Trinity said, with one leg on the ground and the other on the sofa. The thought of chasing a robot in red underwear with a feather duster yesterday made her face flush with embarrassment.

"Of course I'm a robot. Look at me, what part of me doesn't look like a robot?" Lambert rubbed his slightly sore knee and sat down on the sofa.

"Then why do you get hungry? And have allergies? Allergies that need medicine? Isn't that wasting my money?" Trinity said reluctantly.

"Are you really that dense or just pretending? I'm an advanced robot, have you heard of the realistic version? Except for needing to charge, I'm just like a human in every other way." Lambert looked at Trinity as if she were an idiot.

"Really?"

"Of course it's true. Why would I lie to you?" Lambert gave Trinity a sidelong glance.

"Then show me how you charge." Trinity said, handing the power strip to Lambert.

"No problem, but you'll need to step out because the charging port is in a private place." Lambert finished with a lewd grin at Trinity.

Although Trinity's doubts about Lambert were dispelled, the thought of what he said made her unwilling to watch Lambert's actions.

"Fine, I'll come back to check on you later." Trinity said as she walked out. When the door closed again, Lambert looked at the power strip in his hand, feeling inexplicably uncomfortable. Finally, he mustered the courage to place the power strip in his crotch.

To prevent Lambert from secretly turning off the alarm again, Trinity got up early the next day to go to work. By the time Lambert woke up, she was already long gone.

You go, girl!
