you make me feel safe

I finished my shower and quickly dried off, wrapping myself in a towel as I headed back to the bedroom to get dressed.

Karim was already dressed and waiting for me, a small smile on his lips as he watched me rummage through my closet. I tried to ignore the warmth that spread through me under his gaze, focusing instead on finding something comfortable to wear.

Once I was dressed, we headed downstairs for breakfast.

After breakfast, Karim suggested we take a drive to the sea, and I eagerly agreed.

There was something about the ocean that always called to me, the vastness of it, the way it seemed to stretch on forever. It was both calming and awe-inspiring.

We got into the car, and Karim drove with his usual calm precision, the city slowly giving way to open roads and the promise of the sea.
