Kassandra's POV

I managed to evade capture, which I'm grateful for. I've been concealing my horse in a cave and bringing him grass to eat while we hide for hours.

I make sure his voice can't be heard from outside. I can still hear their voices echoing around this misty mountain.

Using my dagger, I cut up some papaya and ripe mango to eat. I've been surviving on fruits for two nights now. I've taken down almost half of that man's men; they keep falling into my traps.

"I need to stay strong. Agh," I groan in a controlled voice.

The wounds on my back, arms, and right leg are throbbing. I'm thankful for the fruit-bearing trees on this mountain; they help me regain strength despite my severe injuries.

"Find that woman! She will pay for what she did to our comrades! I will make her suffer and face the consequences! I will torture and r*pe her!"
