CHAPTER 26

I woke up due to the irritation on my eyes from the sun rays that sipped through the small spaces of the makeshift window. I wasn't ready to wake up since my body felt a little bit tired, I tried to turn on my side so my back was facing the window and the bothersome rays but all I could manage is to lift my body off the ground a few inches before I flopped back onto my back. I felt tired but I doubt I was too tired to lift my own body, I tried moving my feet but nothing my arms were even more hopeless.

In a state of alarm, all the sleepiness I had was gone and my eyes were wide open, lifting my head, I lowered my gaze to inspect my body for any explanation of my it was not corresponding to any movement when I tried moving then. Once I spotted the major cause of my current state, not even seconds into looking I threw my head back and huffed in frustration. On top of my chest, laid a huge dummy who was curled up as if he had no worries in his life.
