CHAPTER 29

I threw the pillow that I used to cover my ears in an attempt to block out the loud music last night, landing it somewhere close to the wall next to the window. Two consistent days without proper sleep awards you with a bugging headache that just won't go away no matter how many painkillers you gulp down. None of us three, are the biggest fan of coffee but a cup or two will have to do. Anything to get rid of the headache. I kicked the blankets off me, not bothering to make the bed I grabbed a towel on my way to the bathroom. I stood still under the faucet with my head against the wall, I had turned the water to cold which wasn't that pleasing considering it's way too early in the morning, but I was hoping the freezing water would do me some good, and it did to some extent. It did not get rid of the headache but it did reduce the tension in my head and I could move a bit better without feeling like I had a really tight elastic band around my head.
