I left to go upstairs and pick up my stuffs. After picking them, I sneakily went into Kaelyn's room, to see her sleeping soundly in her cradle. She looks much more bigger than she was. I actually feel a little guilty for not being around all this while to watch her growth. Her innocence clearly visible in her face. Her peaceful face gave me some sort of peace, I can't seem to fathom. I always wanted a sister, but now that I've got one, I'm already leaving. Her beautiful smile, filled with peace, innocence and naughtiness that feels the empty space in my heart.

"I'm so sorry baby, you would grow up to not know me but I promise I would always protect you even in the dark." I said to her cupping her soft face. And then she opened her eyes, staring at me, seconds later she showcase her beautiful smile that I loved so much.

It melted my broken heart that another fresh tears began to stream down.

"What are you doing here?" I heard mom's angry voice.
