The strange light from the dream dimension cast a gentle shadow over the serene yet unnerving scenery. As if made of liquid glass, the ground glistened, and inexplicably tall buildings spiraled into the ever-shifting sky. A pleasant hum flowed beneath Luna and Fanfar as they stood on what seemed to be an endless avenue.
"Where would you like to go?" Luna asked, her voice carrying a soft, melodic echo in the surreal stillness.
Fanfar adjusted his hair, which fluttered in a nonexistent breeze, and glanced at the marionette card. Mod sent a blue light and drew arrows with this light, showing the shortest path to the clock tower.
"I'm supposed to head to the clock tower," Fanfar replied. His eyes flicked to Luna. "And are you okay? You look pale. Are you still bleeding?"
