Chapter-18

Hyacinth had her back pressed against the coarse surface of a tree's bark. She felt its rigged press against her skin.

She watched the silver-haired mage pace to-and-fro. He came to a stop and appeared in front of her. Hyacinth kept her cool because she was used to it. "What do you have to say? Make it snappy." She folded her arms and gave him an impatient look.

"Be careful during tomorrow's hunt." He began. She was silent before she spoke in annoyance. "You keep telling me things I know. I don't know what you're planning but if you so lay a finger on Cassien or Regal I won't spare you like the last time."She said icily.

Felix shivered back in fear of the weight of her words.

" Lord Luke wants to take over Avalon." He added, making her surprised. "Why are you telling me this? Where does your loyalty lie anyway?" She eyed him dubiously.
