Outcome of the Fight

The Chapter start as Subaru tells Simch—

“I’ll go first."

Then Subaru kick his feet on the ground, and he dash towards Day 2.

Day 2 look at them, with a smirk in his face, as he say— “2 vs 1, huh. Come.” Day 2 said as he gets on his fighting stance.

“Lightning Magic: Lightning Flash!”

As Subaru dash, he swings his sword towards Day 2 targeting his neck, but Day 2 blocks it while Day 2 was smiling he notice Simch, appear behind him.

“Icy Magic: Frost Slash.”

Before Simch was able to swing his sword, Day 2 push Subaru, and hit Simch in the face with his right elbow. After getting hit in the face with elbow, Simch still swings his sword, but hit no one.

After getting hit in the face, Simch back off, and touch his nose. Day 2 takes the opportunity, and attack Simch, but before he hit Simch, Subaru cut Day 2’s right hand.

After getting his right hand cut, Day 2 stop, and he back off, while smirking. As he backs off Subaru follow him.

“Even with two of you, you couldn’t still defeat me.” Day 2 said, while backing off.

“Huh? The hell are you saying? I just cut you arm off.” Subaru said, while following him.

“Is that what you brag about?” Day 2 said, as he regrow his right arm, and attack Subaru who dash towards him, Day 2 form his right hand into sharp claw.

“(Hmm. Your dead brat.)” Day 2 said in his mind, and then—

“Huh?” Day 2 said, as the same hand that was cut earlier, was cut again.

“(This brat?! Cut me again?!)” Day 2 said in his mind, then he look where Subaru is. While Subaru look back at him.

As he look at Day 2, a blood come out of his neck.

“(What?! He manage to cut me, but it’s too shallow.)” Day 2 said in his mind, as he touch the part of his neck that were cut.

As he start to heal his neck, and arm, he suddenly remembered something.

“(!!! The other brat!)” As soon as he said that in his mind, Simch appear behind him. Day 2 immediately look behind him, but as soon as he look behind him, he see Simch’s Ice figure.

“(!!! Huh!)” Day 2 said, as look behind him again, but it’s too late, even if he stop Simch from attacking him, Simch’s Ice figure were also casting a spell at him.

“Icy Magic: Slashing Ice.”

The next scene we see Day 2 hold his neck with his left hand, and his neck was almost decapitate, same with his waist, seeing his neck almost decapitated, Day 2 release a really loud roar, that blown Simch, and Subaru away.

“(Tch, I have to get out of here.)” Day 2 said, as he heal his neck, waist, and then he regrow his right arm, and he start to run towards his right side.

“Is he running?” Katsu said, while seeing Day 2 run towards his right side.

“I think so.” Itsuki said as she look at Day 2 running away.

“I have to get of here as soon as possible.” Day 2 said as he get out a teleportation scroll, and throw it where he was heading.

After that Simch, stand up, and see Day 2 running away.

“You bastard! Don’t you run away!!!” Simch said as he start to run towards Day 2.

Day 2 look at Simch, while he was running. Then the teleport scroll’ wall comes up, but it was different from the teleport scroll that Subaru and the other knew.

The teleport scroll wall use Day 2 was transparent.

“(That teleport scroll! That’s an advanced teleport scroll!)” Simch said as he clicked his tongue and yell once again— “You Bastard!!!”

After that Subaru com out, and he pointed his right hand at Simch, and cast— “Haste!”

As he cast the spell at Simch, Simch movement suddenly become faster. Simch continue to run towards Day 2, while Day 2 reach the teleport scroll , and then he entered it.

When Day 2 look behind him, he see Simch close to him.

“I’ll kill you!!! Icy Magic: Slashing Ice!” Simch cast as he dash towards Day 2 while he was on his swinging motion.

When Simch blade was an inch close to Day 2, Day 2 got teleported away from them, so his spell hit the debris of the abandoned town.

After almost hitting killing Day 2, Simch clicked his tongue, and say— “Damnit!!! I almost had him!” Simch said in frustrated tone.

Seeing that Day 2 is no anywhere anymore, Katsu, Izuki, Nino, and Itsuki went to them.

“Are you okay? Su-kun?” Nino asks, while her arms cross under her chest.

“Yeah.” Subaru respond.

“A-are y-you s-sure?!” Itsuki said with worried tone.

“I am, no need to worry.” Subaru said, as he look at Simch, who stand up, and look at them.

“Let’s go, we need to report this to Lead as soon as possible.” Simch said, in serious tone, and expression.

All of them, agree and then Simch used an teleportation scroll, and teleport them back at the base.

When they teleport back at the base, they see the door, open as Tanaka come out to follow them.

“I have to follow them.” Tanaka said as he see them, looking at him with no wound.

“Rio, I told you. They’re will be fine.” Mavis said, as she follows Tanaka, then she notice Simch, and the other back.

After that they all get inside to tell them what happened.

“Huh?! The same dude who attack us one year ago?!” Tanaka said.

“Yeah.” Simch said.

“(Year ago? So does that mean, Tanaka got promoted into subleader before we join the guild?)” Izuki said in his mind.

“If it wasn’t for Subaru, I’ll be dead now.” Simch said while looking down.

“Subaru-kun save you?” Mavis said.

“Yeah, more important.” Simch said as he clench his both fist. “I almost kill him, I almost decapitate him. If I was stronger, a bit. He’ll be dead now.”

“I’m sorry, Simch-senpai I couldn’t help you out.” Tanaka said, while looking down,

“It’s okay, after all this is your second year of being protector. Anyway, how’s Koharu?” Simch said, as he look at Tanaka.

“Oh, Koharu-chan, she was still being heal by Miku-san, but she’s in the better condition now.” Tanaka said.

“Is that so.” Simch said, as he stand up, and ask Mavis— “Anyway, where Lead?”

“He hasn’t back yet.” Mavis said, while looking at him.

“Is that so.” After that Simch walk towards the door. “Then I’ll go to him, I need to tell him what happened.” Simch said while walking towards the door.

“Then, I help you with that.” Tanaka said.

“You sure? Aren’t you exhausted from using your mana?” Simch asked as he stop walk and look at Tanaka.

“I’m okay, now. Since Miku-san use an mana restoration at me.” Tanaka respond.

“Is that so, then thank you.” Simch said as both of them get out of the base.

“Anyway, where is Koharu’s little daughter?” Izuki asked Katsu.

When he hear what Izuki said, he look at him, with pissed expression.

“She’s not Koharu’s daughter!” Katsu respond to Izuki with pissed tone.

“Heh? But why did you say that her mommy got hurt?” Izuki said in confused tone.

Heating what Izuki said Katsu got more pissed at Izuki.

“She didn’t say anything like that!” Katsu said, as he give Izuki an upper cut.

“(Based on what I remember, Izuki should be fight that strong person, that I forgot who, right on this moment.)” Zakuya said in his mind

“Haaa!!!!” Yume, Furina yell as the swing their both weapon at each other, but both of the weapon hit each other causing a very small explosion. Yume, and Furina jump away from each other, and then both of them smile.

“Both of them, get dramatically increase their strength after receiving the weapon that I enhanced.” Zakuya said as he look at both of them.

“Here I go!” Yume said, as she run towards Furina. Furina throw swings her both hand, and both of her chains towards Yume. When the two chain comes at her, Yume twist her body, dodging Furina’s two chains.

“(Nice moves!)” Zakuya said as he see what Yume did.

When Furina see what Yume did she immediately command her chain to get back to her. Then Yume cast a spell.

“Water Magic: Snake Bite!” Yume cast as she swings her whip around creating an movement of a snake,

Seeing what Yume doing, Furina knee her chains won’t make it, so she use the two chains in her back as a shield. When Yume’s whip hit Furina’s chains, it got completely stop.

“(So, hard. It’s like a shell.)” Yume said, as she jumped backward, and she deflect the two chains that were coming at her.

Furina catch her two chains, and look at Yume while smile, while Yume smile as well.

“Okay, that’s it, both of you well done, you finally able to get your fighting stance correct.” Zakuya said, as he walk towards them.

*Meanwhile back the abandoned town.*

A black figure appear and said— “As I expect it’s here.” The person said as it pick up the shining yellow stone, or what they call Magic stone.
