School Event

The chapter starts as Zakuya arrived, and land at the place where he stays, after that he start to prepare everything, he will need if an abnormally suddenly appear, and attack them.

“Okay, healing potion, check. Mana potion check, Iron skin check. it’s all good, I need these 3 potions if an abnormally appear.” Zakuya said, as he point on his inventory, then Zakuya close his inventory, as he close his inventory, an unknown number calls him.

“Who’s this?” Zakuya ask, as he pick the phone up, and answer the call.

“Hello, who is this?” Zakuya asked, then he heard a familiar tone of voice.

“Yoo, Zakuya I have a mission to you.” After hearing the voice, Zakuya was shocked.

“Lead?” Zakuya ask, with a shocked tone.

“Yeah.” Seto responds.

“You could, call me on your phone, why you call me in another phone?” Zakuya asked.

“My phone just breaks, that’s why I’m using other phone.” Seto said.

“Is that so, then what do you want me to do?” Zakuya asked.

“Oh, I will send a location at you, and you go there, and investigate it alright, and then report to me what you see there, alright?”

“Yeah…” Zakuya respond then his phone received a notification coming from unknown sender.

“Is that all you want me to do lead?” Zakuya asked. Which Seto respond with— “Yeah.”

After that Seto hang up, and Zakuya feel unease, but shake that unease feeling, and he get out of the house, look at the location.

“What? It’s so far from where I am.” Zakuya said in shocked tone. Zakuya than sighed, and say— “I guess, I’ll be late on the event.”

After that Zakuya use float and immediately flew to the location as fast as he can.

*Meanwhile Yume, and Furina is getting ready to go to the school.

“Where did Irumi-kun go?” Furina said while eating breakfast.

“You know that guy, he went somewhere.” Yume respond while eating.

Hearing what Yume said, Furina look down.

“What are you waiting for, get change already.” Yume said, as she heads to her room.

After that Furina went to her room, after changing her clothes to her costume, she and Yume head to the school. As they arrived at the school Furina head to their classroom to check if Zakuya was there. When she gets to the room, Zakuya was nowhere to found. Furina look from him, and she can’t find, so after 30 mins she receives a message from Yume.

“Still looking for that idiot? Forget that idiot, the event is about to start.”

“Okay, I’ll be there.” Furina respond, as she went where Yume is.

When Furina gets where Yume is, Yume talk—“He’s like that, don’t expect much from him.” Yume said, while looking at her phone.

After hearing what Yume said, Furina look down, and sighed—“I really want to show him, the fruit of the training we did with him.”

Yume close her eyes, and close her phone and talk—“Seriously, what do you expect from him, after all he is just a guy that our grandfather pay to train us. Of course he will leave, he finished training us.”

After Yume talk the event start. As they hear the music, they get prepare for the opening. Then were instruct to go out to the stadium. As they walk they began to hear a lot of people. When they get out they see a lot of people.

“There’s many people watching us.” One of the competitors said.

“Is the leaders of the guilds is present?”

“No, they were too busy to watch us.”

After that all of them get to the stadium. Then one of the teacher start to introduce the first game they will play.

“The first game was easy, it was just a race, you just need to the finish line.” The teacher suddenly start talking in serious way—“But you need to kill the monster that will attack you! Good luck!” Hearing what the teacher said, all of the participants got a bit scared as the big door from their right side opens, and then their teacher yells—“Now! The race has began!”

*Meanwhile.*

“I miss the first game, I wasn’t even half way there.” Zakuya said while flying, then suddenly he remember what is look of the thing that he needs to investigate. Zakuya sighed before saying—“Lead was probably busy right now, I’ll call him later, and ask him.” As he fly, he want to check his phone, but he was scared that Yume will send him a death threat. So he stop himself from getting his phone in his inventory.

*Back at the school.*

Yume began to run leaving Furina behind. Seeing her sister running, Furina start to run too. While running Yume use her whip and she swings it on the wall not to break it, but stick the blade of her whip so she can pull herself. Using that technic Yume passed a bunch of student.

Seeing Yume using her weapon to passed the other student, Furina hold her chains, and she command two of her chains, to float on top of the other students, then she run and jump and she use the two chains on her back to hold on her two chains, and with that she passed a lot of students too, and began to run while the two chains catch up on her.

As Yume running, she hear a voice. Voice of someone casting a spell.

“Ice Magic: Wall of Ice!” The student said as he wave his hand upward, releasing a high wall of ice. Luckily Yume hear the voice, and manage to move backward, before the wall of ice come up.

After that the caster of the spell, began to run.

“(My magic won’t work on this.)” Yume said in her mind before using the blade of her whip again as a hook.

When Furina see the ice wall, Yume just got to the other side of the wall, then she see other student climbing the wall.

“(A wall? Will I be able to climb it?)” Furina said in her mind, while running, then she see a girl wearing a nun costume, that were showing her thighs.

“If you think you could stop me, with this ice wall, Element magic: Element of Flame!” The girl said while she draw a circle in her right thigh. Then she gets on her position, and then she kick the wall, creating a hole for her to go through.

“Easy.” The girl in a nun costume said, as she gets in and began to run.

Other students try to go through the hole she created, but the hole soon was cover when the ice above the hole falls down.

Seeing what happened, Furina talk to herself—“I need to get through this wall, or I won’t finish this race.” After that Furina takes a deep breath, and began to run through the wall, and then she use her chains, to climb the wall, as she climb, she cover her skirts.

When she gets to the top, she sees that Yume was so far from her.

“She’s already that far?!” Furina said, as she began to lower herself.

As she lands, she began to run trying to catch up to Yume. As Furina continue to run, her and the other students who passed the ice wall, suddenly hear a loud bang, and when they look back they see the ice wall break down, and then they see a young man with his left arm on his pocket, and his right arm in the air.

As the wall break down the other students start to run as well. Furina look forwards, and she start to run again. Furina continue to run, when she suddenly see Yume gets pushed back.

“Tch.” Yume said as she kicks her feet on the ground, and she dash forward, while holding her whip.

After that a large monster gets push in front of her. then she sees the girl wearing a nun costume land, with her feet glowing in color blue. The large monster jump and swings its both hand at the girl, but the girl disappears before it got hit, then the large monster’s face hit the ground so fast.

“(So Fast.)” Furina said as she see the girl land on the back of the large monster.

Meanwhile Yume dodge the attack of the monster that attack her, then she kick it on the head. Pushing the monster, a bit, then the monster swings it’s both hands at Yume, but Yume dodge it by back flipping, then Yume jump, and swings her whip at the monster, Yume’s whip wrap on the monster’s left arm, and Yume use it to get herself close to the monster. Yume hit the head of the monster with her right knee, knocking it down on the ground. Then Yume began to run.

Seeing Yume began to run again, Furina shake her head, and began to run, then they hear an announcement.

“If forgot to tell you guys, before you passed that monster section you guys need to kill at least 5 monster, or 1 large monster.”

“What we all need to kill a monster?” Furina said as an bigger monster than the one that the girl in a nun costume fight.

Furina immediately backs off, and gets on her fighting stance.

Can Furina kill these massive monster, or other student will help her.
