“I’m worried about Enora, Elio.”, Leonora said, her voice tinged with concern. “She has been through so much lately, and now this… what if something happened to her? What if the humans get to her?”

Elio sighed softly, swirling the liquid in his glass and his brow furrowing in thought. “I know Leonora. But what can we do? There is no denying the mate bond, you know that.”, he replied, his voice filled with frustration.

“Elio, I think we must tell Enora what she is.”, Leonora stated firmly, even though she was unsure. The topic had been weighing heavily on her mind for some time now. Elio shook his head determinedly.

“You know we cannot do that! The Oracle forbade us to do so!”, he said decisively, and took a sip from his drink.

“So what is the Oracle going to do if we do it anyway?”, Leonora said. She wanted to defy orders to make her daughter feel good again. It pained her to see Enora doubting herself.

Elio looked up in surprise to his wife. “You know that it might screw up the prophecy.”, he said in minor shock. Leonora took his hands into hers.

“We don’t even know for sure that the prophecy is about Enora.”, Leonora exclaimed in frustration. “It said ‘old enemies must unite’. I mean, Enora was brought up so far outside of these communities, what enemies could she possibly encounter? “

Moonlit Legacy

Enora was a bit nervous. Without their knowledge, she had added an event to the agenda, which she yet had to tell Sebastian about. It seemed like a great idea, weeks back in the city, but now, Enora wasn’t too sure anymore. With trembling legs, she walked to the office of Sebastian. 


“Enora.”, Sebastian looked up when he heard someone enter, but was surprised to see Enora in his office. She had been so busy for the past few days with all the preparations that he had only seen her when he went out to help her. He knew that the same held for Lucas and Adam, and that all of them wanted to be with her again. 


“Can I speak to you for a minute?”, Enora asked. Sebastian nodded, and Enora closed the door to the office, and sat down on the chair. She started to fiddle her hands nervously. 


“What is it?”, Sebastian asked, confused with her behavior. Enora seemed uncertain and nervous to him.
