Chapter 54 Wolfsbane

Adam stood at the border, the air heavy with tension as he surveyed the scene before him. A group of fighters surrounded him, their expressions grim as they pointed towards the debris scattered on the ground just inside the border. “What do you make of this, Adam?”, one of the guards asked, his voice laced with concern as he gestured towards the wreckage.

Adam’s brows furrowed in thought as he examined the wreckage, his mind racing with possibilities. “Looks like a drone to me.”, he replied, his voice low with uncertainty. “But I’ve never seen anything like it before.”

The guards exchanged worried glances, their eyes flickering with unease as they took in the sight before them. “Should we search for more?”, another guard asked, his voice tinged with urgency.

Adam nodded in agreement, his instincts urging him to investigate further. “Yes, spread out and see if you can find anything else.”, he ordered, his voice firm with determination. “I’ll take a closer look at this.”
