Chapter 61 And Now We Wait

As the night wore on, exhaustion settled over the Moonlit pack like a heavy blanket, weighing down their spirits and clouding their minds. Enora stood at the center of the chaos, her body weary and her mind numb from hours of coordinating the rescue efforts. She had pushed herself to the brink, refusing to rest until every last pack member had been tended to, but now, as the adrenaline faded and the reality of their situation sank in, she found herself struggling to keep going.

Sebastian watched with growing concern as the exhaustion became evident in every line of her face. He knew that she needed rest, that she couldn’t keep pushing herself like this without risking her own health, but every time he tried to suggest it, she brushed him off with a dismissive wave of her hand.

“Enora, you need to rest.”, Sebastian insisted, his voice tinged with urgency as he reached out to gently touch her arm. “You’ve been at this for hours. You can’t keep going like this.”
