Chap. 14 - The hidden power of the pillars [5]

[ The Next Day ]

"Every morning is a blank page, fill it with your best story."

Today felt like any other day as I arrived at school. Alongside Hayden and Miyu, we spent our break in the cafeteria.

Yet, even after the bell rang signaling the end of break, I lingered here.

Class had shifted to Mrs. Celsi's domain, a teacher who mastered two subjects: History and Physical Education.

I sat impatiently in the cafeteria chair, letting out a quiet sigh. "Today is so boring," I muttered softly.

Hayden seemed to have found his identity in being able to sleep as he pleased. I envied him. "I hope for a pleasant miracle."

Moving to the field,

Stepping onto the expansive field,

Students jogged around the track, their faces showing exhaustion from their efforts. "Ma'am, this is the 18th lap," one of them gasped for breath.

"Alright, you can stop now."

They immediately collapsed and grabbed drinks. "Don't lie down, and don't fold your legs!" Mrs. Celsi commanded.

Then realizing that Tomoe and Hayden were no longer in her class.

"Does anyone know where Tomoe and Hayden are?"

I slouched in my chair out of boredom, and from that position, I could see backward with a reverse glance.

Then, when I closed my eyes for a moment, I was startled to find that Mrs. Celsi was suddenly there. In the blink of an eye, she had appeared behind me like a ghost appearing without notice.

"Tomoe, Hayden, I thank you for freeing the students and teachers from Rey."

Mrs. Celsi suddenly said that, clenching her fists, "Even though it was done the wrong way, but you helped us."

The atmosphere in the room changed suddenly, and I decided to rise from my slouched position and look back.

Mrs. Celsi closed her eyes for a moment, then opened them slowly, "That's why I'll help you so that you don't stray into the wrong path."

Her eyes opened, her gaze empty.

This was the first time I saw Mrs. Celsi in such an atmosphere. Usually, I saw her cheerful while teaching, or solemn during a fight.

I kept watching her seriously, my eyes dry because I didn't want to blink. When I finally decided to blink for a moment, Mrs. Celsi suddenly disappeared.

Hayden woke up, lifting his head from the table slowly.

But suddenly, Mrs. Celsi appeared in front of him quickly, grabbing his head and banging it against the cafeteria table.

Causing the table to break and Hayden slammed to the floor hard.

With quick reflexes, I jumped backward, almost touching the ground with my feet.

However, before I could settle, Mrs. Celsi had reappeared in front of me, her hand jerking towards my stomach.

I tried to stop her, but I was still thrown backward, crashing into the cafeteria table hard.

Hayden and I, Trying to rise. "You can, too," Hayden said with a smile.

"Fighting with the use of speed is my weakness." I stood up, brushing dust off my clothes.

We encircled Mrs. Celsi, but she remained calm.

Hayden began the first attack, and I quickly followed him. We ran towards Mrs. Celsi at full speed, but she remained steadfast in her place.

Hayden launched a side kick, while I aimed a punch at Mrs. Celsi's face.

However, suddenly, we swapped positions quickly, placing us in the opposite direction of Mrs. Celsi. Nevertheless, she remained steadfast in her place.

I changed my attack direction, launching another punch at her. Once again, we switched positions, placing us in opposition to Mrs. Celsi.

"What's happening?" Hayden said, a little confused.

Together, we launched a full attack on Mrs. Celsi once again. However, as before, we suddenly changed positions and moved opposite to her.

As we nearly turned around, Mrs. Celsi suddenly pulled our clothes, causing us to collide.

I tried to launch a sweeping kick to the side towards Mrs. Celsi, but she was already out of reach.

In an instant, she was behind us again. We both launched simultaneous backward elbow strikes.

However, before we could touch her, she had moved far out of our reach. "What kind of speed is that?" Hayden looked surprised at Mrs. Celsi's speed.

Instantly, I was thrown far backward. In an instant, Mrs. Celsi was in front of me again. I prepared defensively, crossing my arms in front of my body.

But that wasn't what she was aiming for. With a swift motion, she grabbed my head and slammed it hard into the ground while I was still in the air.

Then, with a quick motion, Mrs. Celsi turned back to Hayden. As she stood in front of him, Hayden launched a roundhouse back kick with skill.

Unfortunately, it didn't hit Mrs. Celsi. With agility, Mrs. Celsi leaped behind Hayden and struck his face with a powerful blow.

Hayden staggered backward, but it didn't knock him down. With determination, he tried to stand tall again, his face covered in blood but still showing strong resolve.

Her breath was labored, Mrs. Celsi launched another attack. This time, the attack came unexpectedly.

With swift movements, she attacked Hayden from all angles, using incredible speed.

I finally realized and tried to rise, my eyes wide with amazement.

Surprisingly, Hayden remained standing tall despite being bombarded with punches from all directions.

I realized it was Mrs. Celsi's doing, but her movements were so fast that I couldn't follow them with the naked eye.

All I could see was Hayden being pushed backward by the relentless attacks from their teacher.

After a while, Mrs. Celsi stopped in front of Hayden.

Hayden stood calmly, not taking a fighting stance.

"Next, I will guide you," Mrs. Celsi said as she stood in front of Hayden.

Suddenly, Hayden, who had been standing tall, collapsed backward.

It turned out he had fainted while standing.

"I beg your guidance, Teacher," I said with a smile.
