The Legendary Sensei

Obito quickly formed the seals, gathering chakra in his mouth. He completed the nature and shape transformation at maximum speed, spitting out a fiercely burning flame dragon that charged toward Uchiha Tetsuka.

During their close combat, Tetsuka had been increasingly surprised by Obito's growth. He hadn't expected Obito to improve so much over just one break, showing immense progress compared to their third-year.

Seeing Obito forming seals to use a ninjutsu, Tetsuka also began forming seals to counter. He didn't believe Obito's ninjutsu could have improved as much as his taijutsu.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" Tetsuka unleashed a person-sized fireball with a burst of chakra.

On one side, there was a fierce, snarling fire dragon; on the other, a formidable, blazing fireball. The two jutsus were about to collide.

"How envious, they've already learned offensive ninjutsu."

Many of the students watching felt a twinge of envy. Some of them were still struggling with the basic Three Jutsus, let alone learning new ones.

"Wait, you call him a loser?" Students from other classes were shocked. They had come to observe Tetsuka's skills, but they found Obito could use such an impressive fire-style jutsu.

"Obito can't be underestimated," another student commented, believing Tetsuka's fireball seemed bigger and more powerful.

"No wonder he's an Uchiha. Even this Obito has hidden depths. He might not match Tetsuka, but this level of skill would make him top in my class," said Kimura, who was scoring them.

At the moment the two jutsus were about to clash, the fire dragon suddenly ascended, avoiding a direct collision, and continued towards Tetsuka.

Obito moved swiftly, dodging Tetsuka's fireball while manipulating his own jutsu. Tetsuka, caught off guard, found himself unable to avoid the incoming flame dragon and braced for impact.

Prepared for injury, Tetsuka was relieved when Ryuto intervened, using the Body Flicker Technique to move Tetsuka out of harm's way.

"Thank you, Yashiro sensei," Tetsuka said gratefully.

Ryuto nodded and announced, "The winner of the first match is Uchiha Obito."

The onlookers were stunned by the sudden turn of events. Just when they thought they would see a fire jutsu clash, Obito cleverly ended the fight.

"This Obito is not to be underestimated," remarked a student with new-found respect for Obito.

"Well done, Obito!" Rin cheered, genuinely happy for him.

Obito, basking in Rin's praise, wore a triumphant smile. He was deeply thankful to Ryuto, knowing that his training had made all the difference.

"Disciple Uchiha Obito's trust level has increased to three," the system notified Ryuto.

Ryuto glanced at Obito, who was joyfully chatting with Rin. "Sometimes being a romantic has its perks," he thought.

Trust levels were hard to increase, but they significantly boosted benefits and enhanced the return from disciple growth.

Afternoon matches went on, but none were as intense. Ryuto and Kimura sat scoring the matches, occasionally chatting.

Ryuto considered scouting for more potential disciples, given he had one spot left and preferred reserving it for those with S-rank potential.

Reviewing his status, Ryuto saw impressive growth:

Skills: Water Style: Water Severing Wave, Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu, Water Style: Water Wall, Wind Style: Pressure Damage…

Evaluation: "You have mastered numerous advanced jutsus, making you capable of handling various situations. Ordinary Jonin would struggle against you."]

By noon, the initial rounds concluded without any major incidents. While Might Guy won his matches decisively, they were not enough to drastically change perceptions about him.

Ryuto knew that Guy's moment would come in the afternoon when the top class rankings were determined.
