"At once, Your Highness," the woman said as she stretched her hands and grabbed the eagle.
However, when she lifted it, the eagle held on more firmly.
"Bruno…" the woman said firmly to call its attention. However, the eagle did not loosen its grip.
"Bruno," the woman said again. This time, she released a wisp of golden brown energy to lure it away from Lydia. However, the eagle tilted its head away from the temptation, so the woman in her 40s gave Lydia a deep bow.
"I apologize, your highness. Bruno is quite determined to complete his missions, so he might refuse to let go until the message from his highness is delivered."
'Bruno, huh? So you really are his highness bird,' Lydia thought as she eyed the eagle.
'Luckily, sir, prevented me from smashing you into the tree back then. Otherwise, I might've committed my first sin to you and to him.'
