Chapter 13

"It better not be here again!"

Nick Fury's face looked particularly grim. After the incident with SCP-173, he was terrified that it might happen again in his territory.

If that thing appeared in the SHIELD building, there would be heavy casualties! "Prepare the freezing gas immediately!!"

Nick Fury hurriedly ordered Hill to be prepared in case the carnivorous vines really did appear.

Kamar-Taj.

"So this plant is afraid of low temperatures."

Wong's eyes lit up after watching.

"In that case, we can use freezing magic or open a portal to dump Himalayan snow on the carnivorous vines!"

"That's not enough. We need to target the roots with continuous ultra-low temperatures."

The Ancient One shook her head. She could see clearly that freezing was only temporary. The plant still had ways to resist, and they had to attack the roots.

But this wasn't a big deal. If it really appeared in this world, she wouldn't mind taking care of it.

Asgard.

Odin didn't pay much attention to the carnivorous vines either.

Although the carnivorous vines showed strong vitality, they were definitely no match for his Gungnir.

"Brother, do you think you can handle this if it appears here?"

Loki had a mischievous smile.

"Of course, I don't believe my hammer can't smash it!"

Thor was eager to try, almost saying, "Let it come to Asgard."

Seeing this, Odin couldn't help but sigh, suddenly feeling he shouldn't have given Thor the throne so soon.

Private Jet.

"Jarvis, create a document and start designing freezing weapons immediately!"

"Understood, sir!"

Seeing the terrifying power of the carnivorous vines, Tony Stark decided he must develop freezing weapons right away.

Otherwise, he would have no means to combat the carnivorous vines. However, if they appeared in this world now, it would be too late! "Damn, I should have been thinking about defense weapons all this time!"

Tony couldn't help but punch his own head. He had been too slack recently, causing him to be unprepared for trouble.

DC Universe.

Bruce Wayne was typing on his keyboard.

He had already set up a document for anti-carnivorous vine measures, and freezing weapons were being developed by Wayne Enterprises.

"If they appear in my world, I'll have to grab Mr. Freeze's equipment for emergencies."

Bruce Wayne thought of an old foe, Mr. Freeze, who had a complete set of freezing equipment.

Currently, all of it was impounded at the police station.

To be safe, Bruce Wayne immediately contacted Gordon.

"Prediction Results: One Piece World!"

As the voice announced, many sighed in relief, thankful it wasn't their world.

But the viewers from the One Piece world were far from calm.

Thousand Sunny.

"What! Appearing in our world!"

Usopp, Nami, and Chopper hugged each other with tears in their eyes.

If that plant appeared in their world, how would they survive!

"It's here! Moving vines, carnivorous vines!"

At this moment, Brook saw the vines of the orange tree moving and thought it had appeared.

"Fire Star!"

Usopp immediately fired a gunpowder attack, setting the orange tree on fire.

"That was the wind! And my orange tree!"

Seeing her beloved orange tree destroyed, Nami turned into a demon and punched Usopp down.

She quickly used her Clima-Tact to summon rain.

Sanji helped put out the fire, stepping on Usopp as he fetched water.

"Heh, appearing here? Interesting. I want to see if it's really indestructible."

Zoro's fighting spirit ignited. He wouldn't back down! "Super! Bring it on!"

Franky posed ready for action.

"Bring it on!"

Luffy stood up, eager for a fight.

"Don't get too excited; it might not appear near us."

Robin kept watching the screen. The screen switched to an island.

A small boat was docked at the island.

A fat, ugly man swaggered down from it.

"The navy's meeting point with us is here, Ace. Enjoy your last bit of freedom!"

The man grinned wickedly at the boat.

There, a shirtless man with a skull tattoo on his back was shackled at the stern, looking weak.

"Ace!"

Seeing this man, Luffy shouted in shock. It was his brother, Fire Fist Ace! Why was he captured!

"That man was at Mock Town!"

Zoro recognized the man. They tried to catch them when they were heading to Skypiea.

"Why is Ace captured! Why doesn't he escape!"

Seeing his brother in that state, Luffy couldn't help but jump around in agitation, wishing he could jump into the screen to save Ace.

"He's likely shackled with Seastone."

Robin immediately deduced.

"Who is that man, and why did he capture your brother?"

Nami was puzzled. In her impression, Ace was strong. How could he be captured so easily? Marine Headquarters.

"Fire Fist Ace! That man must be Blackbeard Teach!"

Sengoku's face changed upon seeing this. He remembered a few days ago a newcomer named Teach captured Fire Fist Ace to exchange for a Shichibukai position.

The World Government agreed to meet at Jaya Island to hand over Ace. Who knew the carnivorous vines would appear there.

"Damn! If Fire Fist Ace escapes in the chaos, it'll be trouble. But sending more marines might not be enough!"

Sengoku thought of the carnivorous vines' demonstrated power and knew that below Vice Admiral level, marines wouldn't stand a chance. Sending more would just feed the vines.

"Right! Kuzan!"

Sengoku immediately thought of Aokiji, an Ice-Ice Fruit user, capable of dealing with the carnivorous vines. He quickly dialed the Den Den Mushi.

"Hello, Fleet Admiral, what's up?"

Aokiji answered, puzzled.

"Are you with Garp? Head to Jaya Island immediately!"

Sengoku ordered.

Returning from Water 7 to Marineford, they would pass Jaya Island. The timing was perfect for reinforcement.

"Huh? Isn't that where we're handing over Fire Fist Ace? Why go there?"

Aokiji asked, puzzled.

On the other end, he glanced at Garp's back, who was silent, lost in thought.

"Don't ask, just go. There's a monster more terrifying than Fire Fist Ace on that island! Only you can handle it! Hurry!"

Hearing this, Aokiji's lazy expression faded.

"Understood, I'll go right away."

Aokiji stood up, ready to inform Garp, but found him gone.

In the distant sky, Garp was already a small dot.

"Wow, caring so much for a grandson who isn't even blood-related."

Aokiji shook his head helplessly and used Moonwalk to catch up.

At Jaya Island, Teach and his crew disembarked, ready to eat and wait for the navy.

"Danger!"

Teach sensed something and stopped, drawing his gun.

Ahead, a large group of people ran towards them, their faces filled with terror, chased by something.

"Boom!"

Suddenly, the buildings behind them shattered, countless vines extending, wildly grabbing every fleeing person!

"What kind of monster is this?"

Teach was stunned. He had encountered many plant monsters in the New World and the Grand Line, but never one this fierce.

"Jump!"

Sensing danger, Teach jumped up.

His crew followed, vines sprouting from the ground, tearing it apart, reaching for them!
