Chapter 215

"Lady Athena, humans can be foolish—I've seen more than two hundred years of it myself—but remember, humanity has survived because of their capacity for good and their indomitable spirit.

Even though there are many evildoers, there are also those who resist them daily, protecting the weak and aspiring toward goodness.

Some villains even reform and dedicate themselves to good," Sage said, turning to glance at Manigoldo.

Manigoldo immediately scratched his head in embarrassment, knowing Sage was referring to his own past.

"So, Lady Athena, please trust in humanity's complexity. Our duty is to protect them while letting them choose their own path. If we interfere too much, we risk becoming like Aaron or the former Pope," Sage continued.

At the mention of the former Pope, a sorrowful expression crossed Sage's face.

Sasha, familiar with the former Pope's story, smiled warmly, reassured by Sage's words.

"Don't worry. I understand," she said.

The other Gold Saints remained silent, aware of humanity's flaws but equally aware of their greatness. Without this balance, they wouldn't be standing here, fighting off the gods attempting to corrupt the Earth.

Hades' Castle

"Hmph, reflect all energy? Control all energy? I don't believe it," Radamanthys scoffed, his confidence in his own strength unwavering.

"I wonder if this so-called vector manipulation can control puppet strings," Minos said with a wicked grin, toying with his fingers.

"This ability might sound impressive, but it's limited to physical energies. Mental attacks likely bypass it altogether. That Pope Sage probably knows this and intentionally kept quiet," Aiakos sneered, his tone dripping with disdain.

"What disgusts me most is that fool who dares call himself a god. Humans like that should be eradicated in our world," Thanatos said with a look of utter revulsion, referring to the Celestial Dragons.

"Pathetic. Humans living under the rule of such imbeciles must be no better than the ones here. They too need salvation through death," Aaron murmured, staring at the screen.

Convinced of humanity's inherent flaws, Aaron felt even more determined to execute his Lost Canvas plan, bringing salvation to the world through death.

Dragon Ball Universe

"Tch. Celestial Dragons? Revolutionaries? I couldn't care less. But I wonder—would that reflect-all-energy ability work against Vegeta?"

Piccolo mused, watching the chaos in the sky.

The sky above was a battlefield of energy blasts and green light. Explosions rocked the heavens, breaking apart the clouds and making it seem as if the sky itself might collapse.

Occasionally, stray energy waves hit the ground, carving deep, terrifying fissures into the earth.

Thankfully, Goku had drawn Vegeta into a remote, uninhabited area to minimize casualties.

"Hahaha! What's the matter, Kakarot? All you're doing is dodging! Are you afraid of me?"

Vegeta, his hair glowing green and his muscles massively swollen, relentlessly launched green energy blasts at Goku.

Struggling to maintain distance, Goku could only evade the attacks, his expression grim.

"Damn it, this is insane. Am I imagining things, or is Vegeta's power steadily increasing as we fight?" Goku muttered.

At the battle's outset, Goku had the upper hand. But as time passed, the tide turned. Vegeta was now dominating the fight, forcing Goku on the defensive.

Now he fully understood the legends of the Super Saiyan—a nearly bottomless reservoir of stamina and strength that only grew during battle.

Conversely, Goku's stamina was depleting rapidly, putting him in a precarious position.

"I've got you now!"

In the blink of an eye, Vegeta appeared beside Goku, raising his elbow high. A green energy sphere formed at his elbow before slamming down with tremendous force.

A brilliant green light erupted in the sky, followed by a massive explosion. Goku, his body smoking, plummeted to the ground like a wounded bird.

"Die!"

Vegeta raised his hand to fire a finishing blow, gathering energy for another attack.

"Goku! Catch this!"

Yamcha's voice suddenly rang out as he threw a small pouch toward Goku.

With great effort, Goku caught the pouch, took out a single green bean, and ate it. Instantly, his strength and injuries were restored.

Transformed back into Super Saiyan, Goku quickly put distance between himself and Vegeta.

"That was close. I thought I was done for. Thank goodness for the Senzu Beans," Goku said, checking the pouch to find three beans remaining. "Better save these."

"Restorative medicine? Rising from the brink of death must have made you a little stronger. But you're still no match for me," Vegeta mocked.

"Let's find out!" Goku grinned, charging toward Vegeta.

In the DC Universe

Bruce Wayne piloted a Yellow Lantern-powered jet at high speed. His mind was preoccupied with vector manipulation.

That ability seemed achievable with the Yellow Lantern ring as well.

He glanced at the screen, checking the situation in Iceland, only to see that Diana had already arrived in Central City.

This gave him a sense of relief. Diana's timely arrival was undoubtedly a good thing.

Although it was nighttime, Central City was brightly lit and bustling with people.

Diana leaped onto the rooftop of a tall building, scanning the area. She noticed cracks in the ground and plumes of smoke rising from various spots.

Crowds gathered near the cracks, chattering anxiously.

"Did you see it? A hand reached out from the ground and grabbed a drunkard!"

"I saw it too, but it was a whip that came out!"

"My child was taken by a whip! You officers, do something!"

"What I saw was even scarier—a giant sword pierced through the ground, skewering several people like kabobs!"

"In that smoke, I saw a massive shadow! It looked like a monster from a movie! Is the world ending?"
