Chapter 256

"Banner! Are you okay?"

Cain ran towards the Hulk, completely ignoring the chaos the green giant was wreaking.

Even as the Hulk was frantically dismantling armored vehicles, Cain showed no fear.

If one were to pay close attention, they would notice that the grass around Cain was rapidly withering.

"ROAR!!"

The Hulk let out an earth-shaking roar. Hearing someone call his name, he immediately turned around and saw Cain approaching.

"Banner? Can you still control yourself?" Cain shouted at the Hulk.

"ROAR!! ROAR!!"

However, instead of calming down, the Hulk became even angrier. His roar erupted into a terrifying shockwave that blew Cain back a couple of steps.

"Wait, are you not Banner? Or… do you hate Banner?" Cain cautiously inquired, sensing something was off.

"ROAR!!"

This seemed to hit a nerve with the Hulk. As Cain suspected, the dual consciousness within the Hulk—where Banner constantly suppressed him—had left the Hulk with a deep resentment for Banner.

Without hesitation, the Hulk swung his massive fist, aiming directly for Cain's head.

Cain made no effort to dodge or defend himself, allowing the Hulk's fist, as large as a motorcycle, to slam down on him.

BANG!

But the next moment, something bizarre happened.

The punch landed, yet Cain remained completely unharmed. Instead, it was the Hulk who seemed to have been struck, his massive frame crashing to the ground and leaving a sizable crater.

"Huh?"

The Hulk stood up in confusion, glancing at the sky and his surroundings. He couldn't comprehend why he had been floored.

Was it because of this unremarkable figure before him?

This only fueled the Hulk's rage further. With another roar, he swung his fist at Cain again.

BANG!

The result was identical! Cain was untouched, while the Hulk was sent flying dozens of meters, only coming to a stop after a hard landing.

"ROAR!!!"

Now completely enraged, the Hulk couldn't understand why his attacks had no effect and why Cain remained unscathed.

Fueled by frustration, the Hulk pounded the ground like a rampaging gorilla, causing violent tremors. He then charged at Cain like a speeding train, his immense speed leaving afterimages as the ground cracked beneath his feet.

Anything near him was torn apart by the sheer wind pressure, making it impossible to approach him without being crushed.

When the Hulk finally reached Cain, he swung his fist with all his might.

"Don't do this," Cain sighed helplessly.

As expected, the moment the Hulk's fist connected with Cain, nothing happened to Cain. Instead, a deep imprint of a fist appeared on the Hulk's chest, causing him to cough up blood in pain.

For the first time in his existence, the Hulk was injured!

WHOOSH!

The Hulk was launched into the air again, this time flying over a hundred meters before crashing through countless trees. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

For a brief moment, the atmosphere calmed.

Cain looked towards the Hulk's landing spot, sensing something was amiss.

From where the Hulk had fallen, a massive boulder was suddenly hurled into the air, crashing towards Cain like a meteor.

BOOM!

The boulder shattered into countless fragments upon impact, but Cain remained completely unharmed.

"ROAR!! ROAR!!"

The Hulk's furious roars echoed in all directions, shaking the surroundings as if the environment itself was resonating with his anger.

A colossal green figure leaped into the air and came crashing down, creating a massive crater upon landing.

The Hulk, now even larger and more menacing, reappeared in view.

The viewers watching through screens were left speechless by the Hulk's transformation.

Rogers: "Oh my god, what kind of monster is this? This is insane!"

Rhodes: "Why does the Hulk look so different? And how is he still fine after all that damage?"

Diana: "Could this creature be immune to pain?"

Dan: "It seems like the angrier it gets, the stronger it becomes."

Krillin: "Are you serious? Just getting angry makes you stronger? That's ridiculous!"

Goku: "This reminds me of a Super Saiyan."

Natasha: "At this point, who's containing who? It feels like the Hulk is the real SCP here."

Loki: "A creature like this absolutely needs containment. Just looking at it makes me sick."

The Hulk glared at Cain with murderous intent, his eyes radiating pure rage.

From the moment of his creation, the Hulk had been an unstoppable force, destroying everything in his path and defying any human weapon.

But now, to be bested by someone so much smaller than himself—it was infuriating beyond measure.

"What's your name? With all that green, should I call you the Green Giant?" Cain tried once again to communicate.

"We shouldn't keep fighting. Continuing this won't end well for you," Cain said kindly, hoping to resolve the situation peacefully.

To the Hulk, however, Cain's words sounded like the ultimate insult.

"ROAR!!"

The Hulk's roar was like the howl of a demon, causing immense pain to anyone who heard it.

The ground trembled violently as the Hulk leaped high into the air, soaring over a kilometer before plummeting down like a meteor towards Cain.

With gravity and his raw strength behind him, the destruction this attack could cause was unimaginable.

The Hulk raised both fists high, slamming them down with all his might just as he reached Cain.

BOOM!!!

The resulting impact unleashed a shockwave of destruction, obliterating everything within a hundred-meter radius.

Sand, rocks, and dust were thrown into the air, obscuring the battlefield. Fortunately, most people had evacuated earlier, avoiding the chaos.

"What the fuck!"

From a distance, General Ross watched in utter shock, his face twisted in disbelief.
