Tsunade's gaze at Danzo was now filled with killing intent.

Danzo never imagined Tsunade would seemingly possess mind-reading or precognitive abilities—

That she would already know exactly what he planned to do.

Realizing there was no point in hiding it now, he gave up on the pretense.

Without a word, he reached for his bandages, ready to unleash an attack.

But before he could move—

Tsunade exploded with an overwhelming burst of Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror's Haki), which surged around Danzo.

Danzo's entire body felt like it had been filled with molten lead.

She couldn't believe Danzo would try to assassinate her.

But then she thought about how dirty his hands were, how obsessed he was with the Hokage's seat...

And it made perfect sense.

As for how she had managed to train her Kenbunshoku Haki to the point of seeing into the future—

It was because after receiving the power of the fire dragon, her Haki had been amplified.

She had awakened the advanced forms of Kenbunshoku, Busoshoku, and Haoshoku Haki.

"Why?! I always thought you were just selfish… but I never imagined you'd do something to harm Konoha! Why try to assassinate me?!"

Tsunade roared, her fury uncontainable.

"Heh… I did it all for Konoha! Your power is too great! Not just you—Jiraiya, Naruto—you've all become unstable!"

Danzo gave up on excuses and voiced his twisted reasoning.

"So… to keep your grip on the Hokage seat and eliminate any threat to your power, you're willing to kill me and rob Konoha of its greatest strength?"

Tsunade's eyes narrowed, filled with killing intent.

She truly couldn't believe someone could be so selfish—so blind.

If she died, what would become of Konoha?

And if Danzo took the Hokage's seat—who knows what he'd do?

"I did all this for Konoha! Only under my control can the village thrive! Why couldn't you just obey me and hand over your power? If you had, I wouldn't have needed to act!"

Danzo roared in rage, still refusing to admit any wrongdoing.

In his mind, he was the righteous one.

"One more question—where's Orochimaru? What deal did you make with him? It wasn't just for a C-Virus sample, was it?"

Tsunade ignored his delusions and asked what she truly wanted to know.

Danzo paused for a long moment.

"…If I tell you… will you let me go?"

He asked coldly.

"That depends on what you've done."

Tsunade replied with icy detachment.

"!"

At that moment, her Kenbunshoku Haki activated again—

Her expression changed drastically.

She snapped her head to the window.

"Orochimaru, that bastard—he's attacking the village again?! So that's your deal with him?!"

Her voice trembled with rage.

Her eyes burned like fire as she glared at Danzo.

She never imagined Danzo would go this far.

"H-How do you know that?!"

Danzo was stunned.

It was true—he had made such a deal.

If he killed Tsunade, it would signal Orochimaru to unleash his zombies on Konoha.

With the Hokage dead, the village would fall into chaos.

Then Danzo would emerge, leading Root to "restore order" by defeating the zombies—

And claim the Hokage position with popular support.

"You idiot! Take a good look at what your stupidity has caused!"

Tsunade slapped him hard.

Then she grabbed him by the collar, kicked open the window, and leapt out—

Jumping rapidly between buildings—

She reached the outskirts of the Hidden Leaf Village.

"Woooohhhh!!"

An alarm rang through the village, signaling an invasion.

Countless shinobi were jolted awake.

Outside the gates—

A horde of grotesque zombies was marching toward them.

Javo, classic zombies, zombie hounds, Shriekers, Regenerators, Fat Men—and various evolved Javo mutants.

And among them—

There were even Xenomorphs.

But looking closely, one could see they weren't normal Xenomorphs.

Their heads had multiple eyes.

Some had scythe-like arms, others had shield-like limbs.

Some had grasshopper legs.

Some even had mouths growing out of the back of their heads.

These were C-Virus-mutated Xenomorph Javo.

They were faster, stronger, and far more dangerous than the human Javo mutants.

But that wasn't even the worst part—

Behind the horde…

There were more than a dozen towering monsters, each several dozen meters tall.

Grotesque creatures, cobbled together from many different animals—

Mixed tails, wings, limbs, heads.

No two looked the same.

"Z-Zombies! And monsters?! They're attacking together?!"

"How is this happening?! We just survived a crisis!"

"It's over! What do we do now?!"

The sight outside the village shocked many shinobi into silence.

Many collapsed to their knees in fear—

Even before the battle began, despair had already swallowed their hearts.

"You see it now? This is the cost of your deal with Orochimaru! He wants to destroy Konoha!"

Tsunade dragged Danzo by the hair and forced him to look at the scene.

Danzo stared at the incoming horde, wide-eyed.

He had expected zombies to be a problem—

But monsters too?

That was beyond anything he had prepared for.
