Dorami couldn't help but feel stunned. She had assumed that stopping time would render the Shadow Fiend powerless, but that wasn't the case at all!
Even with time frozen, the Shadow Fiend could still devour its prey as per its rules!
Such a scenario—Dorami had never even heard of before!
"No way! Time's stopped, how is that thing still moving?!" Suneo shouted, his voice filled with disbelief. As IceDevimon, even his shocked expression looked oddly cute.
This bizarre situation was being broadcast live to viewers across all universes.
Bruce Wayne: Hold on—your Time Stopper isn't malfunctioning, is it? Why can the Shadow Fiend still move?
Dorami: No way! It's working perfectly! Time around us is definitely frozen!
Aokiji: Then what's going on here?
Dan Moroboshi: If time's stopped and it still hunts… could it be that the Shadow Fiend is unaffected by time?
Dorami: That's impossible! How can anything not be affected by time?!
Diana: Maybe we should ask the Ancient One. She might have a clue.
Dan Moroboshi: No can do. They're in the middle of a war—probably too busy to reply.
Hypnos: I have a theory. What if the Shadow Fiend represents a "rule" that overrides time?
Sage: Huh? What kind of nonsense is that?
Hypnos: I know it sounds ridiculous, but think about it. Maybe the Fiend's anomalous nature isn't just a "power" but a rule of existence—one that even time cannot override.
Thanatos: Hypnos! Do you realize what you're implying? That this thing is beyond the Twelve Olympians?! That's insane!
Hypnos: I'm not saying it's a god. I'm saying it might have similar traits—an ability set close to godhood, without actually being a deity.
Hypnos: Heh… whatever universe this containment creature came from, it must be horrifying. How did humanity even survive over there?
Jiraiya: That's a good question… they must have had some kind of countermeasures.
Naruto: So what now, Nobita? What will you do?
Nobita: Uh…
"Let me try the Solidifier Lamp!"
Dorami proposed quickly. She dug into her pocket and pulled out a specialized light.
Then she fired it at the Shadow Fiend.
In the next instant, the creature's form began to harden rapidly, turning solid like stone.
"Is it over?" Shizuka asked, worried.
"Let's test it and see!" Gian exclaimed, already grabbing a nearby streetlamp.
He yanked it out and hurled it at the Shadow Fiend!
But just as the streetlamp's shadow touched the solidified Fiend—something unthinkable happened!
The Fiend transformed back into smoke, enveloping the streetlamp!
When the smoke receded, the streetlamp had vanished entirely.
"AAAAAHHHHH…!!"
Everyone stared in dumbfounded horror.
The Fiend was still under the effects of the Solidifier Lamp—but they had all seen it clearly shift into smoke.
This meant its anomalous behavior had nothing to do with its form. As long as a shadow touched it, it would react.
No matter what state it was in—it would always turn into that deadly smoke.
"Dorami, what do we do now?!"
Nobita, now in his Meramon form, looked extremely flustered—his fiery expression only made it look funnier.
"If we can't contain this monster, we can't just leave it like this—even with time stopped!" he added urgently.
"Don't panic… let me think." Dorami crossed her arms, lowering her head in deep thought.
"Ah! Got it!" she suddenly lit up, clapping her hands together.
"We may not be able to capture it, but we can relocate it somewhere else!"
As she spoke, she pulled out a computer and a piece of chalk from her pocket.
"We'll use Space Transfer Chalk to teleport the Shadow Fiend to a desolate location. That way, it won't be able to hunt anyone!"
Everyone agreed it was a great idea.
"But where should we send it?" Suneo asked.
"How about the North Pole?" Gian suggested.
"No good! There are polar bears—and expedition teams too!" Shizuka immediately rejected it.
"Then… maybe an uninhabited island?" Suneo offered.
"I don't think anywhere on Earth works," Nobita interjected. "Eventually, people or animals will find it again. And then what—move it again?"
Everyone fell silent.
That… was a good point.
If the Fiend remained on Earth, it was only a matter of time before it encountered life again.
No place was truly safe.
Then suddenly—
"Wait! There is a place no one will ever find it!" Nobita declared.
Everyone turned toward him.
"Nobita, where?" Shizuka asked curiously.
"Hehe… on the other side of the horizon!" Nobita answered confidently.
There was a pause—then everyone's eyes lit up in realization.
Dorami was the first to catch on.
"That's right! Beyond the horizon is an infinite void—no creatures, no people. It's the perfect place for containment."
She fully endorsed Nobita's idea and quickly pulled out the Horizon Tape.
"Nobita, you're so clever," Shizuka said with a smile.
Blushing and scratching his head, Nobita chuckled, "Aw, it's nothing."
"Tch, you're only smart when it comes to gadgets," Suneo grumbled.
"Yeah, seriously," Gian agreed with a roll of his eyes.
"Doesn't matter—as long as we have a solution," Dorami said, laying down the Horizon Tape across both sides of the street.
Just as she was about to connect it to open the portal, her face suddenly stiffened.
"Wait a second… There's Sadako on the other side."
