Chapter 20: Black Hole

Yulie groaned out as she almost fell out of her bed if it weren't for the strong arm that had wrapped on her waist pulling her closer to his scarred body. Yulie turned to face him and Kid stirred as his arm tightened around her. She let out a sigh before biting a soft part of his chest. Kid groaned out instantly turning her over as she sat upward on his waist. 

He opened his eyes and grinned as he let his gaze roam on Yulie's naked body now straddling him. 

"Oh I could most certainly wake up like this everyday"

Kid purred as his good hand traced the slope of Yulie's breast. She rolled her eyes as she gestured how she wanted to wrap her hands around his throat earning a chuckle from the red-hair brute. 

"Stop being a brute, haven't you had enough?"

She asked as she pushed herself off of him only to find his metal arm pinning her in place.

"What? That much wasn't enough. You…"

He pointed at Yulie before saying

"You were equally insatiable"

Point taken, Yulie thought as she gazed at Kid's chest which was full of bite and claw marks. Her body was of the same she regarded. The both of them had been insatiable and eventhough Yulie's body groaned and ache, they didn't stop. She couldn't deny it either, the undeniable chemistry between the two of them when it had come to sex.

Yulie's gaze turned to her window and saw that the sun had already risen. 

"Won't Killer leave you?"

Kid let out a sneer as he snaked his good arm around Yulie's waist drawing circles against her soft skin.

"He could try but he wouldn't. He would have waited for me and if I hadn't came back at night, then he knew what that meant"

Sly, Yulie thought, Kid had planned his visit last night and might have taken a gamble with her as he told her his plan to leave in the morning. 

"So… are you still going?"

Yulie pointed outside and Kid regarded her. He had saw every inch and every part of her and had memorized every part of it but he knew that Yulie hadn't lay her heart bare for him, she would never, he thought. He may have been attracted to her and maybe liked her for who she was, not just for the lust. But he knew that the same couldn't be said for Yulie. 

He wanted to ask her. To know who the bastard was, the one who holds her whole heart and being. And yet he didn't, he couldn't. So instead, he nodded.

"I might need to move the departure time seeing as how I can still hog you for myself"

"Please, don't. I'm aching all over"

The wicked grin returned and painted his face as he licked his bottom lip and sat up so Yulie would have been sitting in his lap.He licked Yulie's collar bone and bit it making her groan loudly before the two of them heard her front door open and the quickening footstep towards her room. 

Kid instantly took Yulie's bedsheet and wrapped it around her when the bedroom door bursted open rather forcefully as Luffy stared at him. His eyes wide with flames as he stretched his hand, his fist landing on Kid's face making Yulie yelp.

It was too fast that the both of them hadn't seen it.

"I told you to stay away"

"HEY LUFFY!"

Usopp, Yulie regarded was the only one holding Luffy back from pounding on Kid who now have blood trickling down his mouth. Yulie was still straddling him as she turned around to her brother, gripping the bedsheet tight on her chest as she glared at him.

"Out"

Luffy and his crew's, everyone on his crew that was there stared at her wide-eyed as she glared and put her palm out to their way. Her blue and yellow butterflies instantly bursting out from their hiding places and pushed everyone out of her bedroom, before holding the cracked door there.

"OI YULIE"

"Let us get dressed before you pummel him. Do you want to see us naked?"

She shouted as Luffy banged the door on the other end.

"Wait for us there"

She said rather coldly before staring back at Kid who was sneering at her. She wanted to put her fist on the other side of his face but instead wiped the blood off of his mouth with the bedsheet before she softly told him.

"Get dressed, and be ready to be beat up by my brother"

Yulie winced as another punch of Luffy landed on Kid's face as he tried to dodge but failed to do so. The both of them, she regarded were fighting without using their devil fruits. Just pure pummeling. As soon as the two of them had stepped out of her room Luffy pulled Kid outside and started throwing punches. 

"Well, did you like it?"

Nami had quipped to her making her grimace as the lass elbow her. The others were just watching Kid and Luffy punch one another.

"How dare he touch Yulie-chan!! Go pummel him Luffy"

Yulie almost rolled her eyes at Sanji who was cheering for Luffy. Franky and Usopp had turned their fight into a betting contest, counting how many punches can the other land on the other's faces. Robin, Jimbei, Chopper and Brook were just watching, their faces a mask of amusement. While, Zoro, had turned to sleep on her porch. 

"I asked for her consent you know"

"I don't care"

Kid had shouted, a grin still on his face while Luffy was still throwing punches at him. One, two, three, four, five more punches before Yulie ordered her butterflies to separate the two male, earning a loud groan from Usopp, who no doubt might have lost that bet.

"Enough"

Yulie just quietly said before the two male looked at her. Kid instantly softening his features as he stare at Yulie who was no doubt not amused by their fighting. He watched her as she stalk towards Luffy who, in turn was watching his expressions. He let out a surprised laugh when Luffy glared at him one more time before turning to Yulie.

Yulie regarded her brother and ordered the butterflies away before she placed her head on his shoulders, Luffy instantly wrapping one arm on her shoulders.

"I'm not a kid anymore, Lu. I made that decision not Kid. I'm sorry"

Luffy was silent for a good minute, everyone waiting for him to answer but he only let out a sigh before asking.

"He really didn't force you?"

Yulie shook her head on his shoulders.

"But there were bruises on you"

He only said which made Yulie look and frown at him.

"What?"

"Bruises! There were bruises on your back and legs. He should have picked someone who can fight him."

He said almost, almost like he was sulking. Yulie had this vague sense of realization as she asked.

"Luffy, what did you think Kid wanted to do with me? And what did you think we did?"

"Huh? I know him, he's an idiot so he would've asked you to fight with him. It would break your heart because I know you don't like fighting and I know you're strong but he might hurt you still."

Yulie gawked at her brother before his crew's laughter and sighs echoed through her ear. Red colored Yulie's face as embarrassment filled her face. But then, then she let out a laugh so loudly that it rang throughout Elbaf. She should've known, should've thought that her own brother wouldn't be able to think of such thing, not when his head was filled with nothing but his dreams.

She laughed along with Luffy's crew making Luffy turn towards them asking what was funny. But Kid, he stared and stared at Yulie's laughing face. At her expression that was the color of utter joy and he could feel something in him snapping. Something, a cord, a thread that had snapped in two as he felt his own heart, the cold thing inside his chest beat for once. 

Yulie was still laughing when a resounding voice, one that didn't belong to any of them cackled.

"Zehahahaha, so this is where the fun is"

Yulie could feel herself stiffening, her blood draining from her face as she turn around and found darkness enveloping her whole surroundings. First there was darkness, so much darkness hitting her face and whole body, then in front of her, stood both Kid and Luffy shielding her as she felt her brother's conqueror's haki leaking out of his body. 

The moment the darkness had seized, they, she, Kid, Luffy and the whole Strawhat's pirates were in the middle and all around them, hundreds of pirates.

Hundreds of Blackbeard Pirates.

It had been days since Law had last parted with Yulie and he understood that he had been a fool. The Polar Tang was in stand-still near the waters of Elbaf, with Law not really having the courage to sail forward and far away from Yulie. He was buying time for himself if he was being honest but he hated himself for that.

Law watched as the butterfly flew around his room. It had become a habit since Yulie had left. The butterfly was a memento of her, something for him to remember her by. The crew said he needed it but they were wrong. He didn't need a memento of Yulie, he never did, because he could remember her so vividly it almost seemed too real.

He could picture her in the shared room with Ikkaku, laughing about some stupid boy tale she told her about. He could see her cooking in the kitchen or in the supply room arguing with Shachi about how to organize the supplies efficiently. He could imagine her in the deck, taking a nap with Bepo or just playing cards with the whole crew.

Most of all, he could see her sleeping in his bed, naked under his sheets, her sweet soft moans indicating how deep and peaceful her sleep was. He could picture her sitting in his study table trying to annoy him.

He remembers Yulie in everything and everywhere inside the Polar Tang. She had embedded herself in his ship, in his crew and in his heart so hard that he could remember every tiny detail of her.

A soft knock on his door brought his attention to it, gazing away from the butterfly.

"Captain, dinner"

Law let out a sigh at Bepo's voice, he smiled bitterly before opening the door to see not only Bepo but also Shachi and Penguin on his doorway.

"I didn't need all of you to fetch me just for dinner"

"We know, we just thought Bepo might get lost"

"I'm sorry"

Law could almost laugh at his crew's lame excuse to cheer him up. He knew everyone was worried about him since Yulie left and he was grateful somehow that he still has them.

"Let's go"

Law urged the group to walk on ahead but he stopped when he heard the unnatural flutter of the butterfly's wings. The four of them turned around just in time to see the butterfly slowly being engulfed in flames.

Law rushed over to it only to see it's wings slowly burning, the image reminding him of the vivre card.

"Captain, Yulie, didn't she said her butterflies were connected to her life?"

"That if something happens to her then the butterflies would burn just like a vivre card?"

Law felt his blood grow cold, it was indeed like Yulie's vivre card. Her butterflies have the direct line to her life force. She had told him that on those rare nights where the two of them lay awake in night.

He felt fear slowly engulfing his whole body, his senses numbing, his very heart constricting at the sight of Yulie's butterfly slowly being engulfed by flames.

Something bad has happened to Yulie and this time he might really lose her forever. Might really never see her again.

"Set sail for Elbaf, NOW!!"
