 Ch4

One of the maid that the deceased brought, was lead by an attendant and she took a sit she seems calm, Yan Xiuying squinted his eyes, well weird : " what's your name?"

"Sarah May po" Sarah even had the time to smile, Yan Xiuying raised his brows. 

"Do you know her?" Yan Xiuying's 'her' implies to the person who died. Sarah's eyes avoided his, she kept pinching her fingers, Yan Xiuying blinked why so obvious...

"Who, what do you mean?" Sarah's eyes twitched, she changed her sitting position, dr.Williams sighed , even with no clues but probably she got stomachache or something aya we never know....

"Mrs. Heather, i know you know her, I'll go straight to the point, is there some people present in this plane that has a grudge against her? Don't be scared, just say" Yan Xiuying still didn't set his eyes off Sarah's 

"Mrs. Heather... ah i know, the maid i was with she's from hong kong i know she must have a very deep grudge with mrs. Heather, her name's Chu Mei" 

From Yan Xiuying's observation, Sarah's bearing is calm just that she kept pinching her fingers, she talked very fast, as if she couldn't wait to say it. 

Yan Xiuying tapped the arm chair in a moderate pace then spoke : "then... What makes her have deep grudge with mrs. Heather? And also How did you know?" 

"Well you don't know, mrs. Her mother was ill and no one was watching over her she was supposed to go home and watch her, now because of that b* vacation she has to leave her mom alone," as Sarah talked she became more agitated and her story became more unreasonable, she even cursed, she's not telling a story for them hear now, she's just convincing herself. The same thought came to mind of Yan Xiuying and Dr. Williams.

Dr. Williams looked at Sarah and calmed her down then called the attendant to take her out and bring in the next person, this person should be the last.

Dr. Williams leaned on his chair "have you thought about it?" 

Yan Xiuying looked serious he put his hand under his chin as he leaned his back on his chair : "you know what even with a meagre of clues if the murderer acts like that when questioned, it's very obvious, but then we must have enough clues and evidence to prove our claim though"

Dr.Williams nodded and stroked his beard : "impressive for an intern like you huh, i always thought interns only takes a paper and a pen to write down clues and take pictures of crimes scene haha" 

Yan Xiuying lips twitched if you knew i didn't even study forensic and psychological behavior and police investigation but only read novels and some idle related books, what would be his evaluation of me? Genius? Monstrous? Aya my nose is elongating can't help it this must be talent

System who read through his thought : who's this narcissistic dude.... this is definitely not it's host... 

Just then a girl walked in she seems to be in a bad complexion, Dr. Williams looked at the girl : "hey child are you okay? You seem pale"

The girl quickly shook her head and said she's fine, Dr. Williams didn't believe her but then he let it be and turned to look at Yan Xiuying who was assessing the girl : "what's your name?"

"I'm Chu Mei" the girl said timidly she lowered her head, she's acting very weird, her hands are trembling as if she has done something guilty with it, people might think she has killed someone and was in state of shock, Yan Xiuying yawned seems he really wants to sleep

Without going around the bush he directly said what Sarah said just now and asked Chu Mei about it, Chu Mei became dazed after hearing the story and started to panick : "no no no! I didn't! I didn't! Please believe me i didn't!!"

She started to sob, Dr.Williams spoke : "then tell us about that girl Sarah, her relationship with you and that mrs. Heather"

The moment Chu Mei heard Mrs. Heather her hand started shaking she tried to suppress it and became quiet, Dr. Williams didn't rush her, Yan Xiuying tilted his head look at the girl's complexion, he blinked and thought if you don't know you would think she was the who killed Mrs. Heather tut

As if she had made up her mind, Chu Mei opened her mouth and spoke her voice is very soft, you could hardly hear it if you're in a crowd fortunately it was quiet in their place : " Sarah she's the most pretty sister in our circle, she's half filipino and thai, she was my classmate but then i dropped out of school because my mom couldn't afford to make me go to school, so i wasn't able to see her often, but then a few weeks later i was online chatting with a good friend of mine when i was at school, she said that for some unknown reason Sarah dropped out there are also some rumors that she dropped out because she saw me not going to school and was walking freely outside while she was at school getting reprimanded by the teacher if she went out, the rumors i didn't believe it"

"However there was a day i was applying for a job and i saw that it has a very good pay, salary, and it doesn't need to be high school graduates as long as the person can clean the house and take care of a person, i applied for it, Sarah also applied i don't know where she got the news from but i was happy i have someone i knew to do the job together, we were taken in, we were taken in by Mrs. Heather sge live alone and she's wealthy she said she won 5 million dollars of lottery, although she was abusing maids it's all verbally she would also pinch us from time to time but that's all, in fact she gives more salary than the notice said, as if she's guilty, so i don't mind, i even think she's kind"

Yan Xiuying blocked the system in his mind : "hey I'm trying to investigate here shut up, oh by the way can you detect if she's lying? Even though i know she won't lie, it's good to be more careful"

Yan Xiuying heard some gulping in his mind and concluded that it was the system eating his fuel again finally the system spoke : [uhh wait I'll scan..... wait a moment, okay! She's not lying!]

Yan Xiuying nodded, and continued to listen to Chu Mei and now the story has come to the scene in the airplane, ah what's this, a movie? I feel like I'm hearing some long story that is obviously boring but i have to listen aya...

"Nothing has happened she was in good mood i just didn't know what happened she became angry and irritated again, when got on the plane we sat down and i saw the man at the back of our seat, i noticed it was, it was Sarah's boyfriend, I've always had a bad feeling about this flight, Sarah excused herself and went to the bathroom i glanced at the back and the man wasn't there, i just thought it was just a lovers meeting so i didn't think much about it but then i want to go to the toilet so i excused myself and went, i overheard them talking about some drugs and then some pillow like to kill someone, i was terrified and i didn't continue to go to the toilet and went back" Chu Mei started to trembled like she can't finish her story anymore, she's remembering some bad memories

Yan Xiuying nodded, actually Yan Xiuying didn't plan to ask this girl and thought she was so timid what would she know she probabaly just witnessed the crime and couldn't help but be scared, atmost she'll say who's the murderer but not enough evidence. Didn't expect she'll be a very witness material, ah i can finally get out of here, 

Yan Xiuying's eyes sparkled and then finally opened his mouth and spoke for the first time ever since Chu Mei walked in : " well you don't have to continue, we will probably land in a while you tell everything you know to the police, you can go now thank you for your cooperation" 

Yan Xiuying don't want stimulate her anymore so he just let her go and rest her mind, he told the attendant to take Sarah and her boyfriend in,

Yan Xiuying had thought of it he had some guesses in his mind, he just called Chu Mei to Make sure and asked the system if she's lying since she's not lying then Yan Xiuying's guesses is true

Yan Xiuying's guess was that the murderer is Sarah and Christopher, it might be that Sarah couldn't bear the grievance of getting pinched and scolded, but in fact she has the motive but not the courage, it was probably the boyfriend who manipulated at the back, he is vying for the wealth while Sarah is for revenge. Christopher probably asked Sarah to drug Mrs. Heather, that is the bottle of sleeping pills that fell during the turbulence, seems like Sarah also drugged Chu Mei, it should be Christopher who strangled Mrs. Heather there's no way Sarah could grip another woman's neck like that, she's not strong enough so she had had an accomplice, that's why Yan Xiuying concluded there is two murderer.

The pillow that Yan Xiuying saw might also be a murder weapon, they also seem to want to kill Chu Mei too but then they didn't expect that a turbulence will come, and also didn't expect that Chu Mei's immunity to drugs, and woke up in a short while, it was Chu Mei who Screamed, in fact their plan can be flawless if there wasn't a turbulence. Just that luck wasn't on their side.

Sarah and Christopher walked in cautiously without waiting for anyone to react Yan Xiuying handcuffed Christopher first on the side railing, and then handcuffed Sarah with the railings also.

With that Yan Xiuying stretched and leisurely sat down on his seat while the everyone in the room was stunned, Yan Xiuying then squinted at the two like a satisfied cat and spoke with a lowered voice acting serious : " you are under arrest, for the crime of murder!"

The female attendant was stunned then subconsciously stayed away from the two passengers next to herself

Dr. Williams became surprised then eyed the two people in front of him : "two? I thought it would be just this girl"

Yan Xiuying: "how could it be, how can a girl with such body structure pinch a human's neck and leave scar, she must have a accomplice and just as Chu Mei said, they were planning a murder by the toilet, tsk old man you didn't listen did you" 

Dr. Williams coughed lightly hiding his embarrassment, the story was too long it made him think back on school days where there was ateacher who just reads a book making the students doze off and eventually fall asleep.

Yan Xiuying didn't mind hima nd look at the two panick stricken people they kept shouting it wasn't them until seeing that no one believed them they started to blame each other, then suddenly the watch on his wrist flashed. 

Yan Xiuying wasn't in a hurry, he organized the papers in front of him, when he was interrogating he was also writing down whatever he heard, Yan Xiuying was formulating a papers full of evidence the pillow also was put into a plastic bag then the bottle of pills was in the murderers pocket, Yan Xiuying mentioned everything in the paper that was enough. After landing the police can just read the paper and find the evidence that's mentioned.

Yan Xiuying glanced at Dr. Williams who looked deep in thought, then suddenly thought of something

Yan Xiuying : "system when i go back, i will disappear in this world right? Then what will happen to this world?"

System : [ well nothing will happen, you'll just disappear and then everyone here will forget you, they are just task characters]

Yan Xiuying: "oh then what about this paper i made, should i just burn it then"

System : [ what, what!? No! You can't or else you will not complete the task! The task actually implies that you find the culprit to help the police so that it will be easier to catch the murderer]

Yan Xiuying scratched his head : " then wouldn't they be suspicious this paper suddenly appeared out of nowhere"

System was stuck for a while, well it didn't thought of this problem at all, oh right! : [right i just forgot to mentioned about that, uh well this world is actually just another planet, so we are just helping them solve some small problems]

Yan Xiuying told the system to shut up for a while

System : ???

Then Yan Xiuying explained : "i will listen to the story at the white room so wait a while, I'll finish this first"

Yan Xiuying thought about it and then, decided to put the credit to Dr. Williams so that it will not be too weird, for natives here. 

Then he wrote Dr. Williams name on the paper and let him sign it, Dr. Williams was confused but he signed it anyway, he looked at it one more time, satisfied he excused himself to go to the toilet. 

But before he left, he turned to Dr. Williams and said a few words : "you did it not me but you" Yan Xiuying stared at Dr.Williams eyes as if imprinting what he said to the others mind, like hallucinations but obviously it doesn't have that effect it just made dr.Williams confused thinking that is this man on drugs.

In the toilet, Yan Xiuying looked at the same question that popped up and chose the names of Sarah and Christopher as the identified murderers, with that a system prompt rang to his brain

He stared at it for a while then sipped his wine and then stood up from his seat, he touched his ear which has something the same like an earpiece while walking, then spoke : " I saw, don't touch him, let's just observe for a while.."
