Nora swallowed, her heart racing. "I would be honored to sell my painting to you," she said, her voice soft and appreciative. "And I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to show more of my work to your wife."

The man smiled, a smile of genuine pleasure. "Excellent," he said, his voice warm. "I'll have a check cut for you, and I'll be in touch about showing your work at the gallery."

Nora smiled, her face glowing with excitement and gratitude.

Nora beamed, her heart racing with happiness and gratitude. She couldn't believe that her work was going to be shown in a gallery. It was more than she'd ever dreamed of, more than she'd ever thought possible.

As the man stood up to leave, his expression warm and pleased, she felt a sense of gratitude fill her chest.
