A new Anomaly Was born. part 1

The sudden flash of light was accompanied by a wave of dizziness and a nauseating sensation in my stomach. As I counted the minutes, nearly half an hour passed, and boredom set in. "Uhm... hello? God? Voice? Is—"

before I could complain, I suddenly felt an itching feeling creeping up my spine. "Eh? What Why is my Body so itchy?" I began scratching at my neck and arms to no avail of alleviating this feeling. I noticed that my Body Felt cold... I looked at my hand wondering what was happening before my entire hand burst into Flames. causing my eyes to widen "Holy SHIT! AHH, I"M ON FIRE! Put it OUT!" I began to Blow on my hand as the unquenchable blue flame began to Eat away at my skin and Flesh it Creeped up my Arm and Shoulder until my entire body ignited turning me into the human torch.

Franklin felt his body turn to cinder, his skin dissolving into atoms, and his entire being melting away until only a skeleton remained. He felt no pain, but the sensation of losing all flesh and organs was, to say at worst traumatizing. Then, even his skeleton vanished, leaving behind only a blue wisp-like fire. In its place, Franklin, now in astral form, felt as though he had become part of everything. He felt so light and free, yet this sensation was fleeting... soon, he heard the voice of the System.

[Old body has been disposed of User will now experience rebirth.]

"Jeese...Couldn't you have At least Done that in a less dis-pleasurable way?"

[No.]

In his astral form, he was taken aback; the fiery astral figure of Franklin burst forth in rage, compelling him to shout, "You could have spoken back to me all this time?!"

[I can only respond to inquiries about the system and its functions, or to the best of my ability within the system's intelligence database.]

"Ugh... great, now what happens?" Franklin suddenly felt a gravitational force envelop him. Once again, his now wisp-like form rocketed through space as a familiar-looking planet began to emerge. This one, however, appeared considerably less "lively." The Earth grew larger and larger as Franklin hurtled towards the planet like a meteor.

Meanwhile, On the Planet's Surface, In the Middle of a Forest, from what looks to be an old mining Derelict built into the Side of a rocky Hill-like Structure, the air hung heavy with a dry, metallic odor, The main shaft was encircled by a decrepit wooden platform, its planks warped and splintering. An old elevator, its cage swaying slightly in the wind, dangled precariously over the dark abyss below, its gears and cables long since seized by rust. A handful of Dilapidated buildings stood silent and empty. The walls of the old processing plant were pocked with holes, and the roof had partially caved in, leaving it open to the elements. Inside, massive machines, their surfaces coated in a thick layer of dust and grime, sat dormant. Conveyors that had once carried tons of ore now sagged under their own weight.

Nature was slowly reclaiming the area, with hardy weeds and scrubby bushes pushing through the cracks in the earth and the gaps in the structures. The occasional creak and groan of settling structures were the only sounds making a ghostly atmosphere to the place.

The trees started to sway, and from the distance, an almost otherworldly sound of grumbling grew louder, drawing nearer and nearer.
